Amber Ward is a 12-bed psychiatric intensive care unit, nursing male and female patients with severe mental health illnesses. Amber Wards patients are often too unwell to leave the ward, limiting their access to exercise which can negatively impact on their well-being. ⤵️

World mental health day. A small clip of some of us here at @LGH_SPFT talking about how we look after our own mental health ☺️ thank you to all those who participated! #WorldMentalHealthDay2022 #notjustajob @withoutstigma
Taking care of your mental health isn't a one size fit method. This #WorldMentalHealthDay2022, we asked our team at @LGH_SPFT about how they take care of their mental health?

Can’t say I’m a great teacher.. service users would agree I am not. “Learn to crochet” group became a 2 hour chat with lots of laughs over how difficult crocheting apparently is (who knew!)
Service users gave it a good go but we changed to a bit of bracelet making instead! 💕
Not to brag… but pretty big compliment ay, I’ll take it

Ravi - 'Your best isn't the same as someone else's best'
In a world of Instagram models and child stars. Ravi is here to tell you, that your best. Doesn't look the same. Do the very best YOU can and you've done it right. He's so wise beyond his years. This year. He's taught me.

Emma - 'Have friends that you love'
It doesn't matter if you have a thousand or one friend. It's all about quality over quantity. I agree with Emma, I'd rather have one person I can truly call a friend than a thousand acquaintances. Find those who matter and keep them.
Got a little bit emotional seeing this excellence report pop up on my emails the day before my graduation ceremony (only 1 year late)!! Can’t wait to celebrate with my fellow cohort tomorrow! ✨
