Artificial intelligence systems do not think, feel, want or understand. Avoid language that gives them human characteristics. This is called anthropomorphizing, when we ascribe human traits, emotions or behaviors to non-human things, such as animals or inanimate objects.
Instead, explain what a system does, how well it performs, who built it and who could be affected by it.

Open Source projects that reject AI contributions will be replaced.
This is fine: true Open Source (the stuff below the marketing layer) is good at this.

Crazy prediction: programmers who aged out of the workforce are going to become much more desirable again with AI.
The typical career progression for a software developer was individual contributor, then team lead, then manager.
They went from writing code to reviewing team members git check-ins to selecting tools and designing architecture.
Then they got older, could not work 80 hour work weeks, started getting passed over for promotion, got burned out, left.
If those people truly invest in learning AI, much of that skill and experience base immediately comes back into play.
But instead of humans, they are managing agents.
They are dictating how unit tests look. They are deciding architecture. They are writing coding best practices docs and style guides. They are designing and instructing coding agents, review agents, testing agents.
And they are doing all this comfortably in a 40 hour work week, not an 80 hour workweek.
Without a lot of the bullshit.
It’s going to take some work for these gray haired dudes to acclimate. The transition is not without struggle.
But for those that can, their best days are ahead of them rather than behind them.

Truman World is an AI-generated simulation where every character is an independent Agent:

And Truman has no idea any of this is happening
You can enter a prompt and change almost anything around him — people, events, objects, situations — except Truman himself
Then the Agents decide what happens next
There is no fixed script
Every interaction can push the world in a different direction
The question is:
Will Truman ever realize that he is AI?
The livestream itself is controlled by the audience too
We start with a 8-hour timer

Even if AI develops taste, it will always do things that are unfashionable. What's in fashion is set by high status individuals and by necessity is not what unfashionable people do--and unfashionable people will use a lot of AI.

Products for devs are quite dead. SaaS for devs is dead.
There are exceptions, though I think you have to extrapolate on variables that are not raw software. I have ideas and am implementing them. Mostly in private because building in public also can no longer be capitalized upon.

Agreed. While I was at Google there was an understanding like for every 1,000 employees you hire, one of them is probably a state-sponsored agent.
The vetting process helps a ton. But it doesn't solve it, either. Hard problem.
