Saudi Arabia is using a different strategy in the war. It's the first time they've used it, but it's not new; it's exactly the same strategy as Israel. It appears that Israel is now managing Saudi Arabia's strategic plans.

Take a moment to appreciate that it took the Saudis close to 2 months to finally go after the Houthis’ oil infrastructure after being relentlessly hit on their own oil facilities. They know this will lead to hardships for the people who live in North Yemen, but the Houthis just didn’t care. Disrupting Houthis fuel source will impact not just their liquid-based missiles, but also their troops on the ground. The cost of this war to the Houthis is being incrementally raised.
