One of my favorite aspects of being on the @Q_Caucus board is creating this book. I mean... LOOK AT THESE FANTASTIC SCHOLARS! 😍

when my grandkids ask me what it was like to be alive in the 2020s I’m going to get up and leave the house and quietly walk into the mist

.@uofdenver @GSSWDenver PhD student Brendon Holloway (@mxbrendon) uses community-engaged participatory methods to examine the health care needs and desires for trans and nonbinary communities.
I worked on a trans health research project where trans staff members were getting misgendered by cis staff and the PIs asked the trans folks to lead a training for the cis staff. Oh, and they fired the only Black trans woman on the team 2 weeks into the pandemic.

NEW EPISODE!

When you make jokes about #Adderall for political clout, you're hurting the neurodivergent people in your life. When you make jokes about fatness for political clout, you're hurting the fat people in your life.
✨Your people✨ matter more than political figures and clout!
One unexpected surprise of completing campus visits is the connections you make. After my campus visits this cycle, I've had five people (all MSW or PhD students) join the queer/trans research team I lead. It makes this job search process so much more worth it.
I support insider/outsider research, but I must admit that it's so disappointing to see cis people lead work on trans joy and gender euphoria, especially since many trans scholars are doing work in these areas. Sigh.
I'm excited to have co-authored this article with the wonderful and thoughtful, @dmlittman! Please reach out if you'd like a copy of the article. 🙂
New article! First article out using a method I have been developing, geographic interviews. This piece looks at how young adults experience the physical permanent supportive housing environment. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…
