I finally got into my house. The fire was mostly contained in the attic, but they had to flood the attic to put it out, causing the ceiling to collapse in several places. Everything is soaking wet, and the water damage is very heavy. There are things that are salvageable and and the fire didn't spread to my office, which is good news. Right now, the biggest issue is finding somewhere to go. We were renting, and we didn't have renters insurance, so I'm not sure what our options are. We booked an air bnb for a couple of days, and we'll start figuring out where we go from there. I have a million notifications, and I don't have the capacity to answer them all right now, but from the bottom of my heart I appreciate you all and thank you to the people who donated to me. It seriously means the world to me.
