This summer, I made a conscious decision to change the way I was living and working. After years of moving between conferences, countries, deadlines, and shipping one project after another in the #Bitcoin space, I realized that the pace I'd grown accustomed to wasn't necessarily one I could sustain. I needed to find a different rhythm. One that made room for my health, creativity, and simply being present. It wasn't just about slowing down. It took a leap of faith to rethink my priorities and, more importantly, turn those decisions into everyday practice. What followed was a summer of learning to dance, making music, creating with people I love, and rediscovering the joy of doing things simply because they make me feel alive. What stayed with me most wasn't just what we created, but everything it took to get there: the awkward first attempts, the shared effort, the trust built over time, and the connections that grew along the way. The easier it becomes to generate the output, the more I value the human experience behind it. Technology can expand what's possible, but it can't live our lives for us. Genuine connection, lived experience, and the relationships behind what we build remain scarce - perhaps more valuable than ever. Somewhere in this process, I also began to see more clearly how the different sides of my life have always been connected. The operator in me loves bringing people and ideas together, navigating complexity, and turning possibilities into reality. The creator in me wants to explore, experiment, and express things that don't always have an immediate purpose or measurable outcome. One knows how to build. The other keeps asking what deserves to exist. The most exciting and scary part is realizing I don't have to choose between them. Yesterday, I released STRAY, my 9th song as an independent singer-songwriter @ivylumi - there's a bigger story unfolding as these different worlds I've been building begin to come together.
