Cindy Hyde-Smith, cattle farmer(!), telling people to choose another protein instead of beef—and Colom’s ad turns that advice into a punchline about choosing another senator. One of the most cultural authentic ads I’ve seen! As Mississippi as they come! youtu.be/Nga2Q207-58?is=XI_l…

As a DVT survivor, my heart goes out to Jalen Hurts. Blood clots can be life-threatening, and I’m grateful he’s receiving treatment. Given his medical assessments and hospital visit at 4 am before the London game, he should never have played! espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5021…

If only someone would have warned us… If only… 🤔
10 years ago today @HillaryClinton nailed the bleak future ahead if Trump was elected. “Clinton: Putin would rather have a puppet as president. You won't admit the Russians engaged in cyberattacks against the US, that you encouraged espionage against our people, that you spout the Putin line, sign up for his wish list, break up NATO, do whatever he wants you to do.” Every word is true. Tragically, his capitulation to Russia is even worse than imagined.

The Dispatch doesn't endorse candidates routinely, but it does when one candidate is distinctly the better choice for an important office. This Senate race is one of those cases. cdispatch.com/opinions/our-v…

I'm glad @kwelkernbc discussed the ad with the panel, but wouldn't it be even more exciting to have @scott_colom on @MeetThePress?

While the focus is on the mid-terms, people in MS should be just as focused on county AND statewide elections in 2027. The people in these positions directly affect our daily lives. We should be demanding more from them and voting to replace those who don't listen! #Mississippi27

When Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith said she would block Scott Colom from becoming a federal judge in 2023, she cited as one reason that he had received district attorney’s race campaign funding from George Soros. Hyde-Smith’s claim was untrue. #MississippiMatters open.substack.com/pub/themis…
