Tropical Storm #Agueda continues to reinforce a large area of lower level wind curls & divergence over the Horn of Africa, including much of North Eastern, Eastern, the Coast, Central & #Nairobi regions of #Kenya. These wind patterns are adverse to deep convection & rain cloud formation, leaving the mentioned regions unusually sunny, hot & dry (see extreme forecast chart). Any attempt of rain cloud formation is getting thwarted on real-time basis. There's some notable moisture transport from Lake Victoria by the westerlies into parts of the Rift, Western & Nyanza where atmospheric convergence will lead to precipitation tis afternoon.

Shakahola was a painful lesson in how religious teachings can be manipulated, vulnerable people exploited and warning signs missed. As Kenya reflects on the verdict, the bigger question remains: how do we prevent another Shakahola adx.co.ke/when-faith-turns-f… #Shakahola #Justice

What a brave boy. Man of the house already!
This young boy pictured below approached the Narok County Governor while he was seated today in a function, carrying a hen in his hand and an old brown envelope, only for the security to prevent him from reaching to the governor when the crowd errupted chanting "Acha kijana aongee na Governor..." The Governor chipped in and told the security to let the boy through. The boy was seen shading tears while talking to the governor and after the two were done exchanging some words, the boy left. When the Governer took to stage to address the crowd, he stated that the boy who approached him was telling him about his mother who is an ECDE trained teacher but she hasn't picked her certificates in her school because of a fee balance of kshs. 4500. The boy stated that his mother's only hope was the Governor. The Governor, in what was seen as a moment of humanity gave the boy's mother kshs. 5000 then instructed her to pick her certificates and collect her employment letter from the Governor thereafter. HE CLEARED THE FEE BALANCE AND OFFERED HER IMMEDIATE PNP ECDE EMPLOYMENT. Narok has got the best Governor! Patrick Keturet Ole Ntutu has a good heart.

The alcohol was not his, it was Machoka’s.
Sifuna advisors will finish him. First they told him taking pictures with Alcohol is okay which is actually a bad picture to Kenyans who don't alcohol or have lost relatives to alcohol, now they have advised him to meet Mr Tribalism Gachagua.

Is this true?
KPC SHARES AND THE MYSTERY INVESTOR: The other week, I was suspended from Parliament for stating the obvious. That the Kenya Pipeline IPO was a failure, subscription being below 3% at the last day of the IPO. And that President William Ruto called the CEOs of NSSF, PSSF, Unclaimed Assets, CPF, and others to risk Pensioners savings against professional advise. These are the facts: 1. The President called the CEOs to buy KPC shares against the advice from their own professionals. They had to forge minutes of Board meetings and backdate them. All of them are liable. 2. He again called them last week instructing them to sell the shares to a “Private Investor”. 3. They have cumulatively sold 4.5 Billion shares netting approximately Ksh 42Bn. NSSF is yet to exit fully. 4. The exit price was between Ksh 9.02 to Ksh 9.36. The share were sold cum dividend so that the “Private Investor” maximizes benefits. 5. Accounting for brokerage commission that is usually around 1.5%, the entities sold shares at a loss. The loss widens if you account for time value for money. Even fixing the money in the bank could have earned pensioners much more. 6. The so called Private investor is a company that President William Ruto has private interests in. He is among the “Private Foreign Investors”. In other words he took a soft loan from your pensions, you made a loss but he is making money from it. 7. The Investment Bank that handled the transaction is also owned by him. A newly licensed Investment Bank. 8. The transaction is part of fulfilling the conditions Precedent of the Lamu Refinery. The transaction is closely related to the refinery. 9. More KPC shares will be transferred from the Public entities to the so called Private investors. 10. This completes William Ruto’s personal interests in Oil from Upstream (where he is firmly involved in Turkana oil), Mid Stream (As a shareholder of the Refinery) and Downstream (G - G and other oil Marketers). The details of the Investment agreement between Dangote East Africa Petroleum Refinery and Kenya would shock everyone. 1. Why is the shareholders register a secret - Because the minority shareholders are led by the President of Kenya. 2. Why is the Investment agreement a secret - because the content is pure abdication of duty and patronage. Among the conditions is that Kenya willl NOT import any products made by the refinery even when the prices are double or triple the market price. We are African and Africa is our Business..

The only way you can win presidential politics is through cunning and deception, not matusi.
Edwin Sifuna didn’t just outmanoeuvre the ruling party. He made them look like amateurs to finally secure the Linda Mwananchi Movement Party. In a carefully staged move, Sifuna deliberately sent former police commissioner George Natembeya to the media with a story that sounded almost too convenient. Sifuna would run under the United Democratic Party, the old vehicle associated with the late Cyrus Jirongo. Natembeya, a man who once ran the country’s police force, played the role perfectly. Calm. Credible. Almost James Bond in his delivery. The news landed, and the reaction was immediate. Government operatives and online attack dogs sprang into action. They mocked Sifuna for “having no party.” They rushed to block or frustrate the UDP registration process. Some even allegedly tried to buy off party officials. Bloggers went into overdrive. The entire machinery was chasing a decoy. Meanwhile, Sifuna was already several moves ahead. Quietly, away from the noise, he was in talks with people linked to The Equitable Party, a formation with strong diaspora connections. He secured the party, assumed leadership, and began the process of rebranding it into the Linda Mwananchi Movement Party. By the time the regime realised the UDP story was a distraction, the real deal was already done. One side was playing chess. The other was still arguing about the rules of checkers.

Kalonzo Musyoka meeting Johnston Muthama quietly isn't just a reunion. It's a signal worth reading carefully. ♦️ Muthama has long been Kalonzo's dealmaker. He was in the room in 2008 when Kalonzo became VP under Kibaki, and again for the 2013 CORD and 2017 NASA pacts with Raila. ♦️ When Muthama shows up, coalition terms are usually being negotiated. As Prof @HManyora argues, three questions follow: 1️⃣ Is Muthama positioning to lead Kalonzo's side in talks over the 2027 Opposition ticket?
2️⃣ Is he running numbers on a split-Opposition race that could force a runoff under Article 138 (50%+1, plus 25% in at least 24 counties)?
3️⃣ Or, the big one, is he the bridge pulling Kalonzo toward Ruto, given Muthama is one of Ruto's key men in Ukambani? ♦️ The Opposition's real test isn't who wants the ticket. It's whether it can agree on a fair way to choose one without the losers walking away. ♦️ A meeting isn't proof of a deal. But in Kenyan politics, alliances shift, and the backroom usually moves before the podium does #ElectionsKE
