Launch self-mutating tokens. A new standard for coins that evolve over time: MTS-1 (Mutable Token Standard).

Joined October 2026
introducing mutate-spl.com/ CA: 7Tf5t6NKuWU1JHPuGymqDMNJdVZtcPEcUDdF1TZdQM2C a new standard for self-mutating tokens on Solana, MTS-1 (Mutable Token Standard). for the first time, tokens can mutate their names, tickers and images directly onchain, allowing a single coin to evolve continuously over time. this is made possible through meteora's dynamic bonding curve and its metadata update authority, allowing tokens to launch with the ability to undergo mutations. a token can change its name, ticker and image while remaining the exact same coin, keeping its original mint address. coins no longer have to stay the same, they can continuously change and adapt over time.

holder rewards are coming to mutate-spl.com/ and will be live shortly. a portion of trading fees from each token will be collected in its base asset, whether that's SOL or one of the supported stock pairs, and distributed directly to holders proportionally based on how much of the token they own. the more you hold, the larger your share of the rewards. this adds another incentive to hold and launch through MTS-1, allowing holders to earn from trading activity while their token continues to evolve through mutations.

by popular demand, $TTWO is now live as a trading pair on mutate-spl.com/ you can now launch mutable tokens paired directly with Take-Two Interactive stock. more pairs are on the way. holder rewards are being added next.

is this something you guys would want to see? considering adding it as another incentive to launch through MTS-1, and I think it could be a pretty big benefit for creators. let me know what you think.
Replying to @mutatespl
allow dev fees / holder rewards otherwise why would someone launch on it

On it. if there are any other stock pairs you'd like to see added, drop them in the replies below.

unfortunately, there was nothing we could do while Railway, our hosting infrastructure, was experiencing a major outage. apologies for the downtime and delays. now that everything is back online and working, we can continue shipping and pushing MTS-1 forward as a new token standard that we believe can fundamentally change how tokens are created, evolve and operate on Solana. there's still a lot more to build, and we're just getting started.

Stock pairs and holder-voted mutations are now live on mutate-spl.com/. tokens can now launch with stock pairs, opening up even more possibilities for what can be created through MTS-1. holder-voted mutations are also available, allowing token holders to vote on what their coin should mutate into next. apologies for the delay in getting this update out. the outage was much bigger than initially expected and completely outside our control (thanks to @Railway). appreciate everyone's patience and feedback. more features are already in the works.

still waiting on Railway so we can deploy the latest MTS-1 update. stock pairs and holder-voted mutations will be live shortly. appreciate everyone's patience in the meantime.

Meteora's DBC allows tokens to launch with a configurable metadata update authority. all tokens launched through mutate-spl.com/ have their metadata update authority assigned to a wallet controlled by the platform, which is what allows MTS-1 to execute mutations on behalf of the creator. the creator chooses the mutation mode at launch, and the platform handles the metadata updates onchain automatically.

Stock pairs and holder-voted mutations are being pushed out now. our hosting provider, Railway, is currently experiencing a temporary outage, so the update may take a little longer than expected to roll out. everything is ready on our end, just waiting for hosting services to recover so we can get the new features live. appreciate your patience.

that's one way to look at it. there are a million potential use cases for mutable tokens, and i think a lot of them will become much more obvious as we roll out more features and people start experimenting with what MTS-1 makes possible. we've barely scratched the surface of what dynamic tokens can become.

I was thinking what's the use of this but it actually makes sense. A good dev launches a coin, runs it for like 5–6 months, and then when it starts slowly dying, he already has the background and doesn't need to launch a new one. He simply mutates his coin into the new thing, bringing all the holders with him.

yes, integrating stock pairs right now, alongside votable mutations that will allow token holders to collectively decide what their coin mutates into next. keep the feedback coming in, we're all ears.

can we get stock pairs PLEASE

also putting this out there, we intend to make MTS-1 (Mutable Token Standard) a widely adopted standard and an entirely new way for tokens to be launched on Solana. our goal is to shift tokens from static to dynamic, where names, tickers and images are no longer permanent properties, but something that can continuously evolve throughout a token's lifetime. with the help of @MeteoraAG, we want to eventually see MTS-1 integrated into other launchpads and trading terminals like (Axiom, Terminal, etc.) the long-term goal here is for mutable tokens to become a normal part of the ecosystem. a token shouldn't have to remain the same forever just because it was launched that way.

a few tokens are currently experiencing issues with their images not loading properly. a fix is being pushed out now. if you run into any other bugs, leave a reply below.

yes, although trading terminals and mobile apps may take some time to display the updated metadata due to caching. the changes themselves happen directly onchain, so even if a terminal is still showing the previous name, ticker or image, you can verify the updated metadata immediately through Solscan or Solana Explorer. trading terminals may take a few minutes or longer to reflect these changes, depending on how frequently they refresh their cached metadata.

good tek, is there a way to see the changes in terminals and mobile apps? cause then i dont see the angle if we cant see the changes everywhere

$MTS-1 is officially back to its original name, ticker and image. as requested by the community, we've disabled automatic trending mode for the platform token to maintain visibility as we grow. the metadata has been updated directly onchain. verify the mutation here: solscan.io/tx/3bDVp2P4vqFuHp…

Seems like the consensus is to change $MTS-1 back to its original name. we'll be switching it out of automatic trending mode for now to maintain visibility. the mutations have already demonstrated what's possible with MTS-1, but we didn't anticipate that changing the platform token's name and ticker would negatively affect its visibility. appreciate all the feedback, we're still experimenting with an entirely new concept and learning as we go.
Replying to @mutatespl
Bro, change it back to original name. Token needs to get established first before you change it. It dropped as soon as you changed name

try launching a coin and see what it can become. with dynamic tokens, there's no limit to how many times a coin can mutate, opening up entirely new possibilities for what you can create and how tokens can evolve over time. it's an entirely new way to launch tokens that can continuously change after they're created. mutate-spl.com/

Our platform token $MTS-1 is running in trending mode, allowing it to continuously mutate alongside the most popular tokens on Solana. $MTS-1 tracks trending Solana tokens and adopts their names, tickers and images every 30 minutes. its latest onchain metadata now identifies it as Audacity ($DCT). you can follow every mutation here: mutate-spl.com/mutations metadata: solscan.io/token/7Tf5t6NKuWU…

great idea, will add a holder voting mode where token holders can vote on the next mutation.

SPL tokens no longer have to be static. MTS-1 (Mutable Token Standard) introduces an entirely new way for tokens to function on Solana, allowing them to continuously mutate their names, tickers and images without changing their original mint address. this opens up a huge number of possibilities for what "memes" can become. one token + unlimited mutations = infinite possibilities. mutate-spl.com/
