Did you know it's not called "passion fruit" because it's an aphrodisiac, but is named after the "Passion of Christ?" 😮‍💨 Source (mejor instagram): instagram.com/reel/CttXPg4N1…

I dreamed that I saw Slavoj Zizek being mobbed on the street here in Bogotá by a bunch of Colombian teenage fans and he started running away. I jogged next to him and explained that we'd met (true story) when I worked at at art organization where he gave a talk. I offered...

...to serve as his bodyguard while he was here in town. He agreed and for the next 15 or 20 minutes we just ran away together from his crazed fans for whom he stopped occasionally to give a couple autographs. We finally escaped by jumping onto a trash truck.

Looks like they're finally renovating this fantastic Bogota building, albeit with the most janky scaffolding I've ever seen. Cc: @LondoMomposino

This is just to inform you that in Spanish R2D2 was known as Arturito, or "Little Arthur," a sort of transliteration of how R2D2 sounds to Spanish speaking ears*. Perhaps because "Erre. Dos dedos," just reading R2D2 sounds like, "Copy. Two fingers." 😳 *Ears don't actually speak.

RIP Andre Braugher, a favorite of mine especially for Homocide: Life on the Street, which was like The Wire before The Wire. Fantastic actor and a sad loss at just 61 years of age.

This is that drawing I love. The different postures of the dogs are natural and balletic, but in addition convey doggie happiness in a way that also makes me happy. 😁
