Thank you @LindseyGregg11 and @talawanda T&L team the great PD yesterday focused on health and wellness. And thanks for the indulgent #schoolappropriate treat! #talawandaempowers #talawandadelivers

“You are worth your wellness!” What a powerful statement, LaShanda! Thank you @laborsoflove513. #HopeandHealing

Getting Grounded with @laborsoflove513. LaShanda always inspires. #HopeandHealing

Last year, the boundary between work life and home life got blurred. Very blurred. It’s still blurred. Thank you @KelleyFranksTSD for this session to help reset these boundaries and prioritize #selfcare. #HopeandHealing

Creating Healthy Work Cultures with @hope4thewounded #HopeandHealing

Wellness is being able to stay hydrated because I have reasonable access to the bathroom today! #HopeandHealing

Uninterrupted time to plan and work through our new @IllustrateMath curriculum is definitely a much needed wellness support. Plus I had some time to prepare some logic puzzles for my Ss courtesy of @mathequalslove. #HopeandHealing #TalawandaEmpowers

Voted ✅ Teacher PD day✅ It’s a day of #hopeandhealing with @hope4thewounded #TalawandaEmpowers

My 4yo chose a box of macaroni and cheese as a teacher appreciation gift for her preschool teacher. Her rationale: everyone loves cheese. She’s wise beyond her years. #cheeselover #TeacherAppreciation

No joke- we love our support staff at @Talawanda_MS! In fact, we are 🍌 about them! #supportstaffappreciationweek #talawandaempowers #NJHS

🔨 NJHS built 2 of 3 Little Free Libraries that will be installed in our district this spring! 🔨 This project has been interrupted many times by covid-19, but we continue to be flexible and persevere! This project funded through Oxford Community Foundation! #talawandaempowers

Student work uploaded in a text box on Desmos AB 👏🏼is👏🏼a👏🏼game👏🏼changer👏🏼 for remote and F2F learners! Thanks @Desmos 😘 #talawandaempowers #mtbos

Good morning! Lucky to have a room with a view! @talawandaempowers

Today a S shared this @desmos shortcut to flip to math type from text. This is a game changer for speeding up providing Ss feedback during class. Did everyone else already know this??? #iteachmath #desmosshortcuts #themoreyouknow #mtbos

This has been the most exhausting and challenging semester of my teaching career. And this moment made it all worth it. I am still riding on this emotional high! #talawandaempowers #mtbos #iteachmath #talawandamiddleschool

Back to 100% remote and today’s 3rd period lesson was all about the Ss noticing my dwindling charge % and wondering if a classmate was going to speak up and tell me. That was NOT the objective, but we all had a good laugh when a sweet student finally told me! #talawandaempowers

This remote student’s breakthrough is brought to you by @Desmos and @zoom_us. #AhHaMomentOnZoom #ProductiveStruggle #ExploringExponentials #MTBoS #iteachmath #TalawandaEmpowers

Hey #mtbos, any chance there is a @desmos version of this @openmiddle activity already created? I'd love to use it in class tomorrow, but I'm not as savvy with CL as some of you! @AlgebraDesmos #iteachmath

Ingredients for a successful F2F Algebra class during a pandemic: fresh air, outdoor seating supplied by generous and supportive community members, Twizzlers (lesson inspiration from @mathequalslove), and a whole lot of @Desmos. #iteachmath #mtbos #talawandaempowers

I’ve really enjoyed using @desmos to have Ss write equations for linear models with the actual line as a guide. Here we’re working with authentic data- distance and drive time to school according to @googlemaps. What do you #noticeandwonder? #talawandaempowers #MTBoS
