20 years ago today most of you met me for the first time musically. 20 years ago today I was able to press the button on a short EP entitled "Cloud 9: The 3 Day High", a project that I wrote and recorded in 3 days using beat CDs that @9thwonder had given me a few months prior whenever we'd see each other. 20 years ago I was taking the A,C and E trains to work at Morgan Stanley, then hopping on the LIRR to Huntington to go to my man Nyce crib to record as much music as humanly possible, including this EP that introduced so many of y'all to me. 20 years ago today 9th got behind this project and I never had to work a 9-5 job again. Happy 20 years to "Cloud 9", aka 3 days that changed my life. Salute to everyone who tapped in and has been on this journey for the past 20 years. Here's to 20 more.
