Sheer and wanton vandalism at our allotment. What gives people the right to climb over a fence to destroy an asset that was hard fought to obtain for allotmenteers 😡@ANBorough @PSNIANDistrict @AntrimGuardian
First signs of spring at the allotment with sweet pea planted, tulips almost peeking out, daffodils providing some colour in the orchard and the apple trees ready to spring into leaf @JillyDougan @DavidGMaxwell @ANBorough

Well done guys! I just love the energy you all have. That's going to look amazing in the springtime 🌸🌷🌿🌱💚
A bit of work going on at the allotment with half of the orchard planted out with daffodil bulbs and the other half to be planted out with bulbs supplied by @ANBorough This should provide colour from trees and bulbs in spring @JillyDougan @DavidGMaxwell

What a fantastic journey you have been on and you so deserve everything you have achieved! You should all be so very proud 👏
Today completed six years of hard work with the arrival of our polytunnel funded by the Donnelly foundation. We started with meeting cabin , followed by hedging to screen the fence, a store for our tools and this year a heritage orchard @JillyDougan @DavidGMaxwell @ANBorough
Our tool store funded by the Enkalon foundation and Asda. It arrived just before lock down in 2020! @JillyDougan @ANBorough @DavidGMaxwell
2022 brought big improvements with the planting of 45 heritage apple, plum and pear trees with the benefits that they bring to the environment and our investment at our allotments has culminated with the polytunnel @JillyDougan @ANBorough @DavidGMaxwell
Hedging then followed in 2017 thanks to the Enkalon foundation to screen the fence and encourage wildlife @JillyDougan @ANBorough @DavidGMaxwell
This was our meeting cabin arriving in 2016 and subsequently @ANBorough provided us with a generator to provide power and a water connection for toilet facilities @JillyDougan @DavidGMaxwell

Watch this space for another funding announcement which together with the funding for the planting of an orchard already announced will have made the past couple of weeks a very successful period for our allotment @JillyDougan @DavidGMaxwell @ANBorough
