During Day 1 of the meeting, Mzalendo convened OGP civil society actors from across the continent to explore how civil society engagements can be sustained for Open Government.
The OGP-CSO actors took part in groups discussions on the following four themes:

The new USAID, plans to "leverage blockchain technology" as part of its procurement. This plan to "radically increase security, transparency, and traceability" could be great. For beneficiary info & their security/privacy, it will need to be handled way better than the JFK files.
