Muselk I love u man but this take is awful. Ai has ruined the gaming industry, and it has ruined the lives of thousands. Epic laid off thousands of employees and replaced them with ai to "speed up the process". Sorry but ai is literally the devil
The worst read in the gaming industry RN is the hate on @TimSweeneyEpic .
He fought platforms like Apple charging 30% fees which cost gamers and devs. This includes steam who BANS Developers if they offer their games cheaper on other stores who take less cut.
He buys forests just to turn them into nature reserves.
Epic store is not NEARLY as good as steam yet. But they take WAY less money from developers and literally hand out free AAA games each months. Does it need time to expand features? Yes. Are any of those factors something that is motivated by 'evil' no.
And MOST of all. He's 100% correct that its not 2016. Like it or not AI is existing. And the reason you only see the 'anti AI' comments are because the 95% of developers who ARE using it RIGHT NOW are just scared of the backlash.
This doesnt mean they're just vibe code 1-shotting games. They're utelising it to create workflows that streamline otherwise time consuming (and ultimately not 'player experience' defining factors). Stupid 1-shot assets/entire code bases are not what AI is actually being used for. But there are thousands of talented developers using it in a very thoughtful, structured way which gives them full creative control.
We all are 'scared' by AI - and what it means for jobs, creativity, and creation as a whole. But it DOES NOT change the fact that Tim sweeney isnt wrong.
He's just the person with the balls to actually say what is true.
And if epic goes under, who u gonna blame? Us cause we don't support ai? Na, it'll be u to blame
😭
Peter Cullen was supposed to be here. Fans made sure his presence still was ❤️
Peter Cullen had been scheduled to appear at the convention before cancelling, and after his passing on August 26 at 85, fans began leaving flowers, notes and Optimus Prime figures at the empty space meant for him. FAN EXPO Dallas is taking place September 11–13.
For more than four decades, Cullen gave Optimus Prime a voice defined by strength, dignity and compassion, inspired by his brother Larry’s advice to be “strong enough to be gentle.” That performance became so inseparable from the character that generations of fans never simply heard Optimus speak. They heard Peter Cullen.
There’s something deeply moving about fans bringing Optimus back to the booth Peter was supposed to occupy.
He couldn’t make one final appearance, so the characters and people he inspired showed up for him instead.

Replying to @itz_bato
Feel like replying to you because you sound so stupid, congrats!
My first YouTube videos are from BO2. I’ve played CoD since Big Red One.
A CoD multiplayer match lasts 8 minutes? Cool! I’ll back out and join another.
We were in a 2 hour and 10 minute Wardogs game where you invest in your team/loadout with the money you earn. 1 guy on our team was griefing 32 other people on our team. But for sure bro, I’m crying when I’m bringing up genuine feedback that is becoming more of a problem in the game.
Dumbass.

Linkin Park released Bleed It Out as a single on this day 19 years ago.
The song is taken from the band's third studio album Minutes To Midnight. xitter.cf/Scenemp4s/status/20891…

GENO’S MASTER PLAN REVEALED ?
I believe I've solved why Geno stole the Zero Point, what "Reality Unknown" actually is, and how Chapter 4's Oathbound ties directly into his future plans.
So here's what I think:

Do ships not give galactic epics from the galactic reward areas in #droidtycoon ?

Nine years, and it still feels unreal. Meeting people who still appreciate Chester and his music reminded me that his impact has never faded, and that his voice and legacy continue to bring people together. You are missed today, and every other day. ❤️
