I've progressively gone from "I won't post on that site because it's run by a Bond villain" to "I'll just reply to other people only" to "Okay fine I'll post, but it's going to be dumb."

Despite the title, this playlist is also the Soundtrack of Resort Fees and Paid Parking. If you walk into a casino and hear this music, it is safe to abandon without inspecting playing conditions. youtu.be/PBpuUFFM9OM

Really annoyed with the existence of the Apple Lightning port today. Why did Apple fight for this so long over USBC? Why did they have to be dragged by governments? Everything in my entire family is USBC now except one stupid phone that keeps requiring it's own supply of cables.

Congratulations to Travis Kelce for living a story I once made up to Microsoft Copilot just to see how it would react.

Feels weird to help boost a message, and then see it get hijacked into political grandstanding by people who decided the message should actually be about how they hated me the whole time.

The Fortnite thing was a case of common people's interest being shared with slightly less authoritarian evil.

Seems like each summer I find one animation I'm rooting for. This movie was IMO honestly better than Wall-E at telling an emotional robot story. I'm glad the numbers are working well for it (20% hold is great, usually a movie loses 50% each week) and the next part was confirmed.
Universal / DreamWorks Animation's The Wild Robot grossed $1.15M on Thursday (from 3,854 locations), which was a 21% decrease from the previous Thursday. Total domestic gross stands at $91.62M. #TheWildRobotMovie #BoxOffice

As for why I like The Wild Robot more than Wall-E, let's put it this way: The first thirty minutes of Wall-E were groundbreaking stuff that a lot of people should be proud of. Then there's everything else.

Watching video of "The Boys of Summer" being performed at Sphere and thinking back to when you could see this at The Joint for less money, and be closer to the band instead of a time zone away watching an ant perform under a giant screensaver.

You ever see some news and know it's going to make the tweeters so mad that you visit select profiles and refresh? (Facetious question; of course you have.)

.@pparsons you got found out, boi
Just a year ago Pete Parsons laid off over a 100 people at his company over failed metrics. Less than a month later he bought a 1971 Porsche Coupe for $201,000 while his employees were left to fend for themselves for the holidays. Here’s all his bids bringatrailer.com/member/bng…

So what I'm getting from this is this place is about to go downhill again when they lose key workers that would rather commute to Facebook than move. The downtown SF building has a sweetheart tax deal with the city, and the owner doesn't seem to mind the nonpayment of rent.

While I'm here, I may as well ask @Pokemon to please add the remaining Pokemon to Scarlet/Violet already. We're in that post-DLC period where you fill in the gaps just before announcing a new one.

This is an impressive feat. And the only people in Nevada who care are people who bet on the Yankees yesterday.

The story suggests a 1993 remodel removed "escape tunnels". Nope. They're still there. And serve an important use, too.
Bugsy Siegel’s body was still warm when three mobsters walked into the Flamingo to announce there’d been a change of ownership. At least, that’s how the legend goes. And there are a lot of legends about the Flamingo. 📝: sfgate.com/travel/article/ve…

My favorite story about the Tropicana wasn't at the Tropicana. It was at P-Ho. It involved parking garages. IYKYK.

Persona 2 way back had an actual gay character with an interest in the MC. To me, "queer baiting" is a label that should be reserved for double standards (eg: straights kiss, gays hold hands), but it's so often used as a pejorative for slash subtext of rigidly cishet characters.
Queerbait in video games made growing up gay even harder. buff.ly/47Gscy6
