Tested the affects of UV radiation on colored paper. Results are in and don’t forget your sunscreen because after only 12 hours in the sun the construction paper shapes had completely changed color and left protected spots on the butcher paper!
I have brilliant students... they absolutely slayed making tropism .gifs today! #ITeach6th #TeamKidsFirst
Well, that framed picture of TB12 is apparently staying hung on our wall forever 😂🤦🏼♀️ #goat #thatswhatIgetformarryinganewenglander

If you were to play football on planet Venus, then all 22 players would rapidly vaporize in the high-temperature atmosphere, 50% hotter than a Pizza Oven.
Ignoring that complication, an Earth-inflated football would instantly flatten from the atmospheric pressure — 100x Earth’s.

Not that anybody asked, but the Raymond James Stadium, home to #SuperBowl LV, is oriented precisely north-south in the Northern Hemisphere. This means the Coriolis Force from Earth’s rotation will deflect any 50-yard kick, nearly 1/2 inch to the right. I’m just sayin’.

Today is the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century! We love seeing math in everything around us. Dates such as this can only occur once in a century. Make it a good one 😊
Make sure you’re wearing shoes today...there’s glass all over the floor #RepresentationMatters
Semester 2 is a great time to re-evaluate goals...not just for students, but for teachers too. My goal for this semester is to be present for my students. It’s easy to get caught up in the rigamarole of virtual, but I want to make sure my students know that I am here for them.
I don’t think I’ve had a virtual class yet where I’ve left feeling worse than before it started. Students are handling this challenging time so well. I’m constantly impressed and inspired by their resiliency (and endlessly appreciative of their positivity). #thewhy #TeamKidsFirst
