I am so honored to be a @JordanNISD Jag!!! This morning a group of students, staff, and families went to @WreathsAcross to honor our Veterans. This group sponsored 246 wreaths to honor our veterans laid to rest at Ft. Sam including Mr. Jordan our namesake! @nisd @NISDJordanMag

As our final project for #TheGraveyardBook, #7thGradeGTELA made a movie! Each group was in charge of a chapter. They planned it, wrote scripts, filmed, edited, etc. I pieced it together and we met in the library today to watch it! Enjoy some clips of the chaos 😂🎬🪦 @JordanNISD

On this day in history 📜 October 3 ,1788, Lorenzo de Zavala was born. De Zavala would eventually sign the Texas Declaration of Independence, help negotiate the Treaty of Velasco, and serve as the first vice president of the Republic of Texas.
