This falls at Pete Golding's feet. It's his defense. His hand-picked guys. And they're getting absolutely embarrassed. Four drives, four Florida touchdowns in the second half. Buster Faulkner had his defense on skates all day. It's been like this all year, too.

New excuse just dropped: Ole Miss was apparently playing music through the snap “again and again.” Let’s update Lane Kiffin’s running list since Saturday: • The return was more emotional than he expected • He wasn’t as “in competitive mode” as he thought he’d be • It’s hard to win SEC road games at night • LSU had injuries • Sam Leavitt missed practice • Leavitt missed third-down/red-zone prep • Leavitt left clean pockets too early • Leavitt missed open receivers • LSU had a guy open on the final drive • LSU had TWO guys open in the end zone on another play • A missed block cost LSU another TD • LSU settled for 3 from the Ole Miss 3 • LSU gave up a TD right before halftime • The players felt like THEY “lost the game” in multiple situations, not the coaches • Chambliss kept beating the right defensive calls • Chambliss is basically impossible to defend • Ole Miss treated it like “their Super Bowl” • LSU had to play at Ole Miss two years in a row • The SEC’s scheduling format put them in that position • And now Ole Miss was playing music through the snap “again and again” It’s Wednesday. At some point you can say Ole Miss just beat you.
"Music being played all the way through the snap, when the center's hand is on the ball. Again and again." @LSUfootball @Lane_Kiffin on Sam Leavitt's struggles at Ole Miss and how he can improve for Texas A&M. #LSU

What does a $54 million buyout for the old coach, a $91 million contract for the new coach, and a $50 million roster get you? An a-s whipping in Oxford, Mississippi! #HottyToddy

man I bet Lane is so upset that he used these players as pawns and in the process jeopardized their pro careers and likely cost them lots of money
Today’s full NFL memo, clarifying that Zxavian Harris and Dae’Quan Wright are barred from visiting, trying out with or being signed by NFL clubs during the 2026 NFL season.

The Iran War is one of the biggest self-inflicted failures in modern political history… After explicitly running on ending foreign wars and focusing on domestic issues, Iran has taken over Trump’s entire 2nd term.

Lane Kiffin’s baloney would be much easier to swallow if he just owned who he is and what he did by going to LSU. But Lane pretends to be so many things, he forgets which character he’s trying to play. Column for @yahoosports sports.yahoo.com/college-foo…

I don’t want a $5k check. I don’t want more currency debasement & inflation. I want lower income taxes. I want the federal budget to be balanced. We need younger leaders who benefit from long term thinking.

Lane Kiffin and Will Wade are in a competition with each other at LSU to put together the most unethical roster in college athletics
History: the Browns are waiving tight end Dae’Quan Wright and, if he clears waivers, he has an agreement in place for the 2026 season to play for LSU, per agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln. Wright is believed to be the first player who could play for an NFL team, and then go back to play in college.

I’ll say it again… Respectfully, Lane Kiffin will be the death of LSU because he constantly comprises culture and leadership in attempt to win or get ahead. USC, Tennessee, Alabama (OC), and Ol’Miss…burned bridges due to zero leadership traits. Buyer beware 🤦‍♂️
BREAKING: Former Browns TE Dae'Quan Wright has committed to LSU , ESPN reports. Wright will make the move to Baton Rouge if he clears waivers. on3.com/news/report-browns-t…

Lane Kiffin is on a generational villain run: 😈 - Left Ole Miss for LSU right before playoff run - Tried to poach all of Ole Miss's players & coaches - Brought up Ole Miss's racial history - Moonlights as an influencer with college girls - Just added a player from an NFL roster

All he had to do was nothing. Maybe a little deregulation. Let the AI capex supercycle do its thing. Instead we got tariffs hurting everyday Americans, energy inflation from a needless war, a bond crisis from rising deficits and increased trillion dollar military spending, and trade wars with our closest allies. FT: "Almost two years since Donald Trump won election pledging to slash prices and fix the US’s public finances, his Iran war and tax cuts have delivered a different outcome: record-high debt, soaring fuel costs and punishing mortgage rates."

Treasury bond buybacks are silly. Yields are ultimately anchored by Fed policy, rate expectations, and long-term inflation, not Treasury balance sheet games. If the government wants lower yields, stop running $2 trillion deficits and disrupting energy supply chains. Buying back bonds while running a $2 trillion deficit is like taking Ozempic and eating 4,000 calories a day....

SpaceX alone just created over 5,000 millionaires while you have lifted zero people out of poverty or created zero millionaires (besides yourself)
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

I'm not canceling Jaxson Dart. That's my QB, and his views and politics are his own, and I respect that, just like he'll respect mine, I'm sure. He's a great kid with a great upbringing; that's all that matters. Congratulations, Jaxson. Meet the president again when you win it all this season 💯
NOW: New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduces President Trump before his speech in New York.
