I loved talking with a STEM Fair group from Ms. Prato’s class today about their project! They told me what they were testing and what they were observing. Great evidence of the scientific method in action! @LowryElementary @WeAreHAEST @HCPSElemScience

STEM Fair is in full swing! Yesterday we talked about the qualities of a good testable question. Students sorted questions into testable or research categories. They’re on their way to some great projects! @WeAreHAEST @HCPSElemScience @LowryElementary

What a fun day learning about sound energy! Every student used their own ruler to see how the size of an object affects the pitch of the sound it makes. They were surprised at the results! @LowryElementary @HCPSElemScience @WeAreHAEST

I love that our Long Term Investigation helped me to be in the know about the storm coming our way. It was also a great lead in to explain why school is closed today and tomorrow. We are so invested in tracking the tropics! Stay safe everyone! @LowryElementary @HCPSElemScience
