There are some very tiring things about your first Ofsted as a headteacher. The worst is forgetting your keys so you can’t get in super early as planned and having to wait for someone to arrive!

Organisation thread! Not as exciting as ‘the chair’ but this is how I organise my SEF evidence/ handy documents. Means I have it to hand straight away. Folders: SDP/Governance/ day to day/ headteacher induction/ SIAMS/ SLT/ Curriculum/ SEND/ DSL/ EYFS/ Disadvantaged/ LEA support
/Staffing/ Finance/ Premises/ locality group. This way, anything is to hand straight away and nothing gets lost. I make a rule to put things away straight away!
