After 14 years here it's very sad to see the rapid lurch to the right on this platform. Power corrupts, absolute power ... you know the rest.
Anyway, I'm enjoying building connections over on "a different platform". It would be great to see more #ResoundWorship people there.

“Mystery Canticles” is now streaming on all platforms. Please share to help a girl out with impossible self-promotion! open.spotify.com/album/5mZnG…
For reasons that will be obvious, I'm now on Mastodon. Follow me for tech and general stuff here: @stillbreathing@mastodon.world
If you have a Mastodon account please let me know, it would be great to have people to follow.

A exciting day for me today, as I'm launching Diagram Club, for people who like my drawings about cycling, sustainable transport, current events + life generally. Benefits: reusing diagrams, community, exclusive downloads, online events, etc. Details here: davewalker.com/introducing-d…
I bought this CD, it's great - and for a great cause 👍
I’m still donating 100% of CD sales to Platform 1 crisis mental health charity. Every penny counts. Visit to purchase 👇

If you're being interviewed for a job in tech, which questions do you think are good to ask because they will reveal red flags about how the company treats their people and the company's attitude to work?
The world needs to see this. Good advice for every day, not just Monday!

A few weeks ago, Huck (3.5) had a sick-day from pre-school. To fill an empty day, we sat at the piano and messed around. And he wrote this song. Hope it motivates you to do your best today!

Sang the new @ResoundWorship song 'Alpha And Omega' at @BirstallParish this morning. @andyclarkpiano and @mattfweeks are such great writers. Support UK songwriters!
I couldn't more. Bravo. If you work in any aspect if producing software, you need to read this and send it to your boss (and maybe your bosses boss)

Great article on progressive enhancement (which references my 'Technical Credit' article from years ago - I'd almost forgotten about that!).
This foundational best practice stuff doesn't go out of fashion.
Progressive enhancement is about a lot more than just JS, but the JS is the hard part, so that’s what we always end up talking about. It’s not about people who've “opted out of the modern web,” it’s about all of us, as much as 3% of the time. pixotech.com/blog/giving-you…
Hey @TPExpressTrains looks like the ticket payment page on your website is broken. It's pretty annoying for customers who want to give you money.
FYI it's a JavaScript problem - a missing file. I've tried on a Windows laptop and an iPad, but no joy.

This is awesome. A student making good trouble where (most of) the rest of the Web industry slumbers.
Idea: everyone who has a website "in scope" send a similar FOI request. Is there a template/some help? I'm up for this.
