This afternoon I got to see the aftermath of HB6 as the former Ohio Speaker of the House was led away in cuffs to spend the next 20 years in Federal custody.

After HB6 was passed and signed, the rationale for the bad energy policy became clear and Ohioans will be paying for the greed of First Energy and a group of politicians.

MVP spokesperson says it will lower costs. Gas industry analyst points out (correctly) that the purpose of MVP is to sell gas at a higher price, thus raising prices in Appalachia. And EIA notes gas use will fall with rising renewables. This is US energy policy in a nutshell.
