Living in #BucksCounty, PA every other commercial is like, "an immigrant is going to take over your school, change your child's sex, and then kill you," or, "Democracy will die and America will be a fascist regime run by an unhinged maniac"... followed by a big pharma ad. 🫨
Long post alert, but please read it. I thought about whether to put this out there and decided that while it was still fresh in my mind, I should do it.
Mondegreen was epic. One of the best weekends I've ever had.
I think I can safely speak for the majority of Jewish parents who are dropping their children off at college- we are scared for our kids. This is not ok.
So, to the woman who said all Zionists are crazy and the "other people" are crazy too, please know that I wasn't trying
college. There is an incoming freshmen Snapchat of which she is a part where someone asked if there were Jews in the chat. When she said yes, the person replied, "good to know." She has assured me that she knows how to respond and feels confident about standing up for herself.
I did not, however, start an argument or start explaining the history of the region and of the Jews that have always lived there. I did not discuss the historical change from polytheism to monotheism and the gradual way that the Mediterranean and Middle East merged
