Epoch Times editors told a reporter with health issues to do Falun Gong exercises and urged her to convert. She didn't and was laid off. A representative said the paper welcomes employees of all backgrounds and follows "applicable laws and regulations."

As Shen Yun's bookkeeper was dying of cancer, her credit card was used to buy luxury goods from Hermes, Van Cleef, etc.
Her family believed the purchases were made for Falun Gong's leader and his wife. The credit card statements showed payments for their cellphone bills
