I like replying to people here and I don't want to miss an opportunity to connect which hiring a reply guy would mean. But I do get busy and somethimes doing it manually just ... doesn't work So what are some other options to solve that problem? I’ve been testing FanBase by @XBorgHQ, and that’s where it makes sense to me as a creator. Having a personal reply guy who knows my voice and what I’m building could save me time. But getting to know people is one of my favourite parts of being here. What I like about FanBase so far is that it helps me spot what needs my attention and draft replies with context about me and the person I’m replying to. I can edit them and send them myself, without starting from scratch every time. The automations are interesting too. Think of those introduction posts (that are going super viral RN) where you share a bit about yourself and invite people to connect. The post takes off, replies pile up, and suddenly keeping track becomes a job of its own. I could use an automation to send a short intro or useful link to people who specifically ask for it, then pick up the conversation myself. Which I just did on FanBase. Still testing, and there are things to improve. I’ve noticed suggestions appearing on conversations I’d already answered manually, so I’ve flagged that with the team. I’m also keen to try their MCP with my Grok Bot setup. And two things I’d love to see: Reddit and help maintaining my X reply lists. Who should I add? Who have I lost touch with? Who no longer fits what I’m following? Because keeping those lists useful is painful as hell 😂 I’d rather spend that time actually talking to people.
