I have finished Silver Pines and it's my favorite Horror game of the year! The game was so much fun that i was so sad that it ended. The voice acting and story telling were phenomenal and really helped sell the strange bizarre world full of mysteries and danger. The game's ending were all beautifully written and will have me thinking about them long after. The gameplay was a mix of my favorite games: Silent Hill's navigation, Resident Evil's Inventory Management and Metroidvania's level design. The combat was just the right balance of fun to play but stiff enough to make fights challenging and scary. Exploration and atmosphere was my favorite part. Exploring the world was tense and very rewarding when you find secrets, upgrades, or optional challenges. There were quite a few puzzles and combat challenges to keep your mind and reflexes engaged. There were a few minor bugs and rough sections, but they pale in comparison to how absolutely brilliant the game was. I had so much fun and can't wait to see what these developers end up doing next. I give this game a 10 and it's on my must play Horror Games list from now on.

I'm absolutely loving Silver Pines so far! It's one of the best Survival Horror games I've played in years. It draws inspiration and elements from Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Twin Peaks, Alan Wake, and more. It has such good atmosphere, story telling, exploration, and combat!
