Important thread on the Bronx fire. People don't use space heaters for the hell of it. They were cold!
The fire was caused by a space heater. Meaning the fire was caused by a landlord.
People using space heaters means a. broken windows, or b. landlord illegally withholding heat.
This building has 174 violations. Including for heat.
Is @NYCMayor going to do something about this?

Cops had high hopes after they arrested 5 people and recovered 2 hijacked SUVs inside a Rogers Park garage.
But only one felony charge was approved — and not for carjacking. (One of the men charged with misdemeanors is on parole for robbery.)
