Can the comfast adapter demod analog video-camera, yes, yes it can. Not live , all in Chrome, just images every few seconds it can demodulate it. 2.4 still needs calibration, this is done with Sonnet 5.5 on a new temporary free Claude account, because all out of weekly.
Here is that cheap Pluto clone @MacroWorld21 @ryzerth - was added into my NXT2K (Netally) tri-band tool, since I want to give Wi-Fi people a cheap "free" alternative. As you maybe do not know, Wi-Fi industry spectrum analysers that do 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz usually have a yearly license and cost 10 times more than a typical SDR, the make everything an SDR will change that. Here is a short video of that old tool, already years behind all tools I made last week, lol.
A lot of post about CheapOSDRs (my Claude project folder) - I will also share more on how I work, here is some of the other tools I have available - and yes, a new lighter model is next to me right now.

This is what happens when I just hold my fingers around the metal part around the USB, since it makes so much noise, the metal part that pops out from the connector is like a good antenna, measured with Aaronia V6 and a magnetic loop, and demo here in my app.
These USB on the front of my desktop I have measured before, and I knew this from before. Here is an "worked to much, need a haircut and cut my beard and some sleep Kjetil" - where I troubleshoot noise INTO one of my chambers. Now I have a much better cable inside of the chamber, so hardly nothing leaks in.

Thank you @nemanjan00 !
And here is my tired face showing you noise from USB ports that leaks into the RF Chamber I have. Because the π filter can’t filter out everything, then I accidentally made a super cool shitty #USB port and cable leakage tester.

More testing here, 160 MHz alias-free (320 MSps burst mode), down to 18 fps, a lot of hickups, only works on my desktop (Z390 AORUS ULTRA MB), all other high-end laptops I have cannot do it, only this good ol i9-9900k, Z390 desktop machine atm.
Making stuff work takes 1 hours, making stuff do more than it should, and troubleshoot.... months :-D
glitches and hickup logs.
16:45:24 Burst: 116 kept/s, 0.0 hiccups/s (415 glitches total), cycle ms p50 7.0 p95 13.9 p99 14.8 max 15; per burst ms arm 1.7 first_packet 2.4 all_packets 2.1 mailbox 0.2; floor dBFS/bin (nfft 1024) clean -82.1 naive -81.6
@lambdaprog - no folding copy here from my own Wi-Fi speedtest, there is an actual SSID with primary channel on 112 that is real also. :-O - more testing! Drops of 2-3 MHz on each side tough (for now)

OpenWrt One WB receive-only SDR. MT7981 Wi-Fi radio taps raw 14-bit IQ @ 40 MSps, streams VITA 49 over 2.5GbE to a browser spectrum/waterfall. Flashable release + one-command setup. v0.1
feedback and critique welcome:

When your troubleshooting, anti-aliasing, USB hickups and overruns, DC, calibration, flatness, correct gain and more tool accidentally ends up to be a bit to much beautiful.
Here is a speedtest, now at way more frames per second, so the waterfall is super fast - and this is all being done in Chrome, yes, in your browser locally with a few backend script(s), on Windows 🪟
One cool thing with Windows, is that when we load the firmware for the Mediatek, and forget to close the script, and remove the adapter first. Instant green screen!
Just remember to close the script that loaded the firmware, not easy when you are like me, and work on 10 projects at the same time, and did not know what I had open, that is why Windows, I have hundreds of things open at the same time, because why not.
I ordered a HP Fury G1i 16", RTX Pro 4000, 64 GB DDR5 at work, a fantastic machine! But…. It can’t do a single Mediatek USB at 80 MHz with constant USB hickups, tried with a good USB-C to USB-A on the TB5 ports and it is worse, can’t do 2 adapters at all.
My private Lenovo!! P15 Gen1 from 2020! Hold my USB controllers, 4!!!! Adapters shared over both USB-A, and one each on the TB3 ports via hubs!
4x 80 MHz!!!! @HP You better fix it! @Lenovo ftw!!!!!!!!!
Made a summarizing post and video on LinkedIn, all the cool random, stuff that happens in real-time is BEST and will ALWAYS be best on @X - no need to post that video here I guess, just many of the same things I have shared. The biggest job is to clean up ALL the things in all the applications, so much junk for troubleshooting and testing that is mostly applicable to my machine.
Then see how I can share what I found out, the goal is to make all Wi-Fi SDRs tools looking good!
The LinkedIn post is here - lnkd.in/p/egaYxpPq
Only burst mode works, can’t do burst when you get 490 or whatever many GHz @Aaronia_AG plan in the future. The dual 40 Gbps must work, maybe the insane spark can QA the HP the same time
Yo! @luigifcruz @h0m3us3r spent 30 minutes looking for some Comfast adapters. CF-912AC, CF-928AC, CF-951AX, CF-952AX and the very first Wi-Fi7 USB that crashed my computer, the early version of CF-983BE (Realtek….) and a few MT7921K and some MT7925 in my desktop, and more all around the house. I’m a typical Wi-Fi dude, I have 20-30 more around the house and more in the mail.
I want then ALL AS AN SDR NOW 🤓
