What are we doing? People are justifying doxxing a juror because they didn’t get the outcome they wanted in a case about the killings of three children. Lindsay Clancy admitted she strangled her children. The trial was not about whether she did it. It was about whether she was criminally responsible. Her defense argued postpartum psychosis. Prosecutors argued planning and intent. After five weeks of trial and about 38 hours of deliberations, the jury deadlocked 11-1. The judge declared a mistrial. One male juror stood on his morales and refused to join an acquittal by reason of lack of criminal responsibility. Other jurors later told reporters he acknowledged reasonable doubt but still would not vote not guilty. That is how a hung jury works. Unanimity is required. Eleven votes are not a verdict. The judge sealed the jurors’ names for two weeks because of the intensity and divisiveness of the case. This man was the one person who would not go along. Whatever you think of his reasons, that is the job a juror is supposed to do when unconvinced. There were jurors clearly sympathetic to Clancy’s defense. There were people outside court in pink shirts supporting her, and a national argument about postpartum care versus accountability for three dead children. The holdout became the public target after the mistrial. That is the case. A mistrial is not an acquittal. The children are still dead. And treating a lone holdout as fair game because the result was disappointing is a rotten way to run a justice system.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ And don’t let me get started on the racial aspect? This has gone long enough already.

The media used to be the unofficial 4th branch of government dedicated to keeping politicians in check by stating the facts. The modern media now bends over backwards to push a divisive agenda that only furthers the ever widening gap that is the racial divide. The point of the jury is to vote based off how you feel about the evidence. Forcing someone to forsake their world view in support of the preferred outcome of a few isn’t justice. We already have evidence of jurors forcing people to submit to the will of ideologues just to shut them up. Doxxing this man is just as much a miscarriage of justice as it is if you go into the case with the sole purpose of getting someone off or alternatively if you want to go after them (Demented juror from Trump case) Now we see the left going back to their racist beliefs bc it’s a black man and once again apparently we are not smart enough to think for ourselves or hold true to our convictions. I am so disgusted by what I am seeing. Kudos to this man for standing his ground regardless of his history. A history that has no bearing on this case even tho it seems he was chosen with the intent of using his past as evidence that he would support the preferred outcome. These people are monsters. They lack integrity, conviction, critical thinking, a morale compass 1 man stood against the many and they have chosen to make the hero a villain.

I will say one thing about this Lindsey Clancy case. I have lost so much respect for people I once thought acted on social media in a way that is in line with the beliefs they claim to have. Yet their desire to let a murderer off shows they dont practice what they preach. Innocent children are dead and the legal system is actively trying to allow people to claim insanity as a way to avoid consequences. She knew what she was doing. She took those children who looked to her for safety and security and brutally ended their lives. I can not image the fear that was going thru them watching the person they look to the most snuff them out of existence. May God have mercy on her soul but here on earth that demon will get no sympathy from me.

We can disagree on many things but I sort of draw the line at people trying to justify a woman’s right to murder her children

There is about to be a massive miscarriage of justice here. This is one of those times where people need to look at the real world and realize that they are attempting to set a foundation where your skin color or your gender excempt you from consequences of your actions. That is ultimately what is taking place right now. I am not going to say every woman on that jury sides with Lindsey. I will say an ideology that justifies late term abortions leads down this very road
