There were a few artists whose artistic impact were more impactful/influential (James Brown, Stevie Wonder). But to me Prince is the most complete artist of all time. He's basically--What if Jimi Hendrix could dance? What if Bowie could play everything? A unicorn.

Long before I became a concert photographer, I snuck my camera into Ahoy at age 17 to shoot Prince during The Cross. They’re definitely not my best photos, but they’re a beautiful memory. And to my surprise, they even made it into @johnmckie’s book. 💜 #PRINCE4EVER
