Corn 🌽 525 is the add-on pivot for a lot of us… myself included 🤪 This thing is not backing off. Crude oil down $2 and the adding/subtracting game is in full effect. Nothing beats a bull market in grains. Cattle and corn trading the exact opposite of last year.

In 1953, the Marine Angel, a cargo ship measuring 634 feet (about 193 meters) in length, made its way along the Chicago River, passing beneath the Michigan Avenue Bridge. At the time, it was the largest vessel ever to travel that route. The ship was en route to Lake Michigan to be converted into a self-unloading ore carrier for service on the Great Lakes. Navigating such a massive vessel through downtown Chicago was a complex task. The Marine Angel had to maneuver around sharp bends and under low bridges, assisted by tugboats and experienced crews to ensure safe passage. The Saint Lawrence seaway wouldn’t be open until 1959 and this was the only way to get a ship of this size from the eastern seaboard into the Great Lakes. #archaeohistories

In Budapest, a rock has resurfaced in the Danube. It's called the Rock of Starvation - Ínség-szikla. For centuries, its return has meant one thing: the river is so low the mills fall silent, crops fail, and hunger follows. It surfaced in 1616. In 1718. In 1811, 1830, 1842, 1868. In 1947. And now it's back, in 2026. For the first time in 44 years, Hungary has shut down all but one of its Danube-cooled nuclear reactors. A nearby farmer puts it plainly: "I've lost nearly 50% of my harvest, and it could hit 70%. Since I started farming after the end of communist rule, I've never seen a catastrophe like this." The rock is a warning. It's been delivering it for 400 years. We know exactly what it says, but we haven't been listening.
