In Britain today, we have a de facto Islamic blasphemy law, ushered in by the Labour Government’s official “anti-Muslim hostility” definition.
It is being enforced by the police, the courts and now the Government’s own counter-terrorism programme, Prevent.
A programme tasked with stopping people becoming terrorists is being used by activists and extremists to silence legitimate criticism or mockery of Islam.
In recent weeks, comedian @JohnCleese was referred to Prevent and faced calls from Muslim activists to have his Birmingham show cancelled over comments he made about Islam on social media.
Reform UK Shadow Chancellor @RobertJenrick was reported to the Metropolitan Police and referred to Prevent after he called radical Islam the biggest threat to our country and called for the burqa to be banned on @danwootton’s show.
Robert isn’t wrong, is he? Radical Islam is a threat. MI5 has said that Islamist terrorism is the biggest threat to Britain.
Restore Britain leader @RupertLowe10 was reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards for linking Muslims and Pakistanis to the rape gangs, despite Baroness Casey’s report concluding that Muslim men of Pakistani heritage were disproportionately involved in these heinous crimes.
Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary @NJ_Timothy was reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards by Labour MPs, branded “Islamophobic” and faced calls to resign from then Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer after criticising a mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square.
Reform UK was reported to the Equality and Human Rights Commission by 28 Labour MPs over its comments criticising Islam and the same mass Muslim prayer event.
It was the Islamist website 5Pillars that broke all these stories. A Home Office unit, RICU, has even labelled the group a “subject of Islamist extremist concern”.
These activists know what they are doing. The sinister weaponisation of Prevent will undermine public trust in the programme.
We must not let an Islamic blasphemy law take root in Britain.

The entire premise of ‘gender transition’ is a fraud.
After cross-sex hormones and surgery, the share of young Finns needing psychiatric care went from 19% to 49%!
Finland tracked every young person sent to its gender clinics, for up to 25 years. Among those given cross-sex hormones or surgery, 19.2% had needed specialist psychiatric care before their first clinic visit. After their last procedure, 48.9% did. Their matched peers stayed flat.
We were told cross-sex hormones and surgery would fix these young people's mental health. Finland checked. After the drugs and the surgery, far more of them needed psychiatric care, not fewer.
What Finland found
Finland sends every young person who wants a medical "gender reassignment" to one of two university hospital clinics, in Helsinki and Tampere. Researchers led by Dr. Sami-Matti Ruuska, an adolescent psychiatrist, and Prof. Riittakerttu Kaltiala, a professor of adolescent psychiatry at Tampere University, pulled the national health records for every one of them.
That's 2,083 people under 23 who went to those clinics between 1996 and 2019. Each was matched with eight people of the same birth year and hometown, 16,643 in all. Some were followed for up to 25 years.
The new numbers
Critics claimed the first analysis might have counted people who hadn't had their drugs or surgery yet. So in September the authors ran it again, starting the clock only after each person's last step: cross-sex hormones, breast removal, or genital surgery.
•Before their first gender-clinic visit, 19.2% had needed specialist psychiatric care.
•At some point after their last procedure, 48.9% did.
•Their matched peers, counted from the same dates, went from 14.4% to 13.2%.
After their last procedure, these young people were about six times as likely as the general population to need specialist psychiatric care. That held for both males and females.

What should be done with a foreign man who has been a 'hardened terrorist' since he was 16, was a member of the group which beheaded Briton Ken Bigley, and went on to join an Isis unit which conducted stonings, beheadings and mass executions? A normal country would deport or permanently jail him.
If he was back in the Middle East, he'd be hanged. But in the UK, when this man, the Iraqi Mohammed Yaseen, arrived illegally (leaving Germany after serving a sentence for his Isis membership), we locked him up for six months and then set him free.
Despite a British court being told that Yaseen poses 'a danger to the whole of the UK', he has applied for asylum and it is being reported that our own Foreign Office 'has raised concerns' that he could face 'mistreatment' if he's returned to Iraq.
'Mistreatment' because he's a terrorist, you understand. Yaseen's asylum claim will be funded by British taxpayers, as will all the legal aid he receives.

What happens when we become afraid to criticize an ideology because of who might be offended?
When criticism of Western societies, Christianity or “white people” is treated as acceptable, but criticism of other cultures or religions is dismissed as prejudice, we create a dangerous double standard.
No ideology should be above scrutiny. No belief system should be protected from criticism because of the identity of the people who hold it.
If we are serious about defending free expression, that principle has to apply consistently.

In this week's Beyond Gender, @LesDStrghtManSa raised a point about gender surgeons that I had never considered: that they are very likely the bottom of the barrel.
And it makes complete sense not just in terms of skills, but also ethics. Because only a surgeon with no ethical principles would spend their days destroying healthy functioning bodily systems.
Only the cranks and the fanatics would make it their life's work to disfigure people in this way without a shred of scientific justification.
Back in the 1970s, at Hopkins, a horrified plastic surgeon once approached Dr. Paul McHugh and said:
“Imagine what it’s like to get up at dawn and think about spending the day slashing with a knife at perfectly well-formed organs, because you psychiatrists do not understand what is the problem here but hope surgery may do the poor wretch some good.”
Horror at the ghastliness of this medical crime is the normal human response.
But the power of trans as a civil rights juggernaut overruled society's natural instincts, resulting in good, decent people supporting the abominable medical crime these surgeons are committing.
This explains why the U.K. AND France et al are broke. Too many voters with too little understanding of how society works, or doesn’t work … voting to choose policies which don’t address the problems.
