An interesting find as I begin the process of mom and dad house clean up. Not sure if it’s a collector, but pretty neat all the same. Summer 1971. A full year before I was born.
Haven’t posted anything irrigation related lately. Here is a couple of short vids of our latest “small” project. A project we’d like to call “finding the wires in the valve box, 25 years later”
This picture kind of sums up the 2025 season. In the foreground we continue to grow in a new tee and the rest of the 3rd fairway is barely hanging in there. Can you tell we have single row irrigation. Keep your heads up fellow turfies, some wet weather is bound to find us!
Mack was a great assistant. Thanks for your help Callum!

Did I hear a commentator today say “Aim point express”. Seriously!!
In all seriousness, there’s nothing wrong with AimPoint. The problem is when it’s not taught correctly which will slow down pace. Also a player who is slow will always be slow with or without it. My issue is when they are so conditioned to use AimPoint that it’s a habit they have to use even on tap ins. Trampling around the golf hole is not it

After the last couple of weeks of terribly wet windy weather, I didn’t think this was gonna be my view for today. Lyle found the dry stuff!!
I knew there was another decoder box on the driving range. I just didn’t think it would 10” below the grass and 6” below the head. I guess there has been a fair bit of divot repair at Fox Meadow over the years.

A first pro game to remember!
Congratulations on your first two pro goals, @DyllanGill10! 🥳
So not quite the same before and after pic but really pleased how a couple of new tees on hole 14 turned out. Started Monday and seeding on Friday, job well done Fox Meadow turf team.
Well done Bryson on not only the win but recognizing the greens staff.
Shoutout from @B_DeChambeau to @PinehurstResort agronomy team and volunteers on excellent conditions for the @USOpenGolf. 👏
Sometimes it’s the simplest things getting done that makes a day feel good. #irrigationduties
