This response does not disavow that the Ramaswamy campaign made the ad, which is significant, as the question of who paid for the ad has not yet been verified and it has no disclaimer. It seems that if Ramaswamy's campaign did not pay for the production of the ad, they'd say so.

As in the past, the longtime organization to combat antisemitism makes no mention of Trump using the term at a campaign rally last night.
The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.

🇺🇦 Zelenskyy delivers a blunt message to the United States: “Just give us Starlink back. If you refuse, Ukraine will survive. We will continue defending ourselves with or without it. But why would you restrict a country fighting for its survival? Why make it harder for us to defend our people? I simply cannot understand the reasoning behind this decision. It is a mistake.” Ukraine isn’t asking America to fight its war. It’s asking America not to stand in the way of its defense.

A working paper estimates that a standard 20-unit apartment building takes nearly 5 years from application to completion in San Francisco, New York, and Miami. Raleigh builds one in about the time SF takes to approve the permit. vox.com/future-perfect/50455…

THE SHRUGFLATION TRIANGLE I wrote about what happens when the two biggest borrowers in the economy seemingly stop caring what money costs: (1) oil, AI, and Treasuries feeding into each other (2) who ends up paying for it (people) and (3) why nobody seems to be able to stop it

A new national Fox News poll finds Trump's approval rating at 36%. That's his lowest ever in a Fox News poll over both his terms. And Democrats with a 54/45 lead among registered voters on a generic ballot, strongest of the year.

Absolutely stunning price spikes in wholesale diesel today; Up 18cts/gal Gulf Coast and East Coast; but up 28cts/gal in Southern California and 25-30cts/gal in Great Plains and Great Lakes. Market clearly not believing that Russian oil is on the way.
