Many of my followers are saying, "We're 6-0! Nothing needs to change!"
I take the exact opposite approach: *Because* the Vikings are 6-0, they need to make a change at quarterback.
It's time for the Vikings' experiment with Kyler Murray to end.
The Vikings have the league's best defense and best special teams. Those occurrences don't happen often and almost never simultaneously.
Meanwhile, the Vikings offense is among the league's worst, if not the worst. Its 10 touchdowns are the fewest by a 6-0 team in 94 years, the first year after the forward pass was legalized in the NFL. During Minnesota's 11-game winning streak, kicker Will Reichard has contributed more points than the offense, defense, and returners combined.
The Vikings rank 29th in passing yards and 31st in touchdowns scored (thanks, Titans!).
Today's Vikings offense is very unlikely to run the gauntlet of playoff teams to reach the Super Bowl. Minnesota will almost certainly squander this generational opportunity if they don't improve their quarterback play. And they may frustrate Justin Jefferson enough to lose him in the offseason.
There was offseason optimism that Kevin O'Connell could work some magic on Murray to revive a career on life support. But Murray's sample size has grown big enough to draw firm conclusions. The Minnesota version of Kyler Murray isn't different from the version in Arizona last year when he was benched for Jacoby Brissett.
On Sunday, Murray had all of his weapons healthy and faced a battered Colts defense missing three cornerbacks, including Sauce Gardner. Murray completed 14 passes for 150 yards and 1 score.
The only positives for Murray are his lack of interceptions and his periodic scrambles for first downs. But that's not nearly enough to balance the scales against his passing deficiencies.
Can we hope that Kyler Murray improves? I guess, but I'm reminded of the axiom, "Hope is not a strategy."
Carson Wentz represents a minor upgrade over Murray, but not enough to win a Super Bowl, even with a great defense.
It's not easy to improve the quarterback position during the season. But it's not impossible. The Giants appear to have just done it.
Nolan Teasley should be hesitant to spend the draft capital he'll want next April--his first NFL draft as general manager. But he should also realize that the 2026 Vikings are in a remarkable position that simply requires functional play from its quarterback.
It appears there's no single super-power team in the NFL. The 2026 Vikings have a real chance to reach the Super Bowl, but only if they find a quarterback to hoist the offense out of the cellar.

Holy Sh*t: Pat McAfee goes OFF on the University of Utah after the university’s official Instagram account posted a video of students mocking him.
"I hate this place. I hate this place. I did not enjoy the University of Utah."
McAfee hopes to NEVER return to the school.

Not Fox running cover for Piker and the DSA.
Like they ever care about Jesse “the body” until now.
Fully agree with free speech. No one has ever (at least not this girl) said he can’t say what he wants, but the rest of us can see him for a violent extremist from that speech.
See; that’s the difference between normal people and communists- we say, “sure say what you want, but I can make my own moral judgements on that speech and behave accordingly through my vote and my pocketbook”. communists, on the other hand, want to destroy people’s very lives for speech and bully them into never speaking out and threaten people’s very lives if they get out of line.
And if you don’t believe them, they’ll burn your city down.
But go ahead Fox “News”, you do you.
Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura sat down with controversial political streamer Hasan Piker ahead of Piker’s sold-out Minneapolis event Monday night. During their conversation, Ventura defended Piker amid criticism over his past remarks and argued for the importance of protecting free speech — even when that speech is unpopular.

Brian Flores inherited a historically awful defense in his first year and turned them into a average group with a bunch of nobodies outside of Hunter, Koc inherited a pretty damn good offense and it’s just progressively getting more dogshit as the years go on.

Submitted info from an observer at the @IlhanMN @OmarFatehMN @hasanthehun hate-America rally:
"Sold-Out , not more than 50 people
First speaker said the MPD is overfunded, we need to stop funding them and put the resources elsewhere. Incredible to say that when four Minneapolis police cars are security at the event.
Next a 7 minute Muslim break."
Are @OmarFatehMN, @IlhanMN and @hasanthehun paying for the police response at their hate-America rally in Cedar-Riverside Minneapolis?

Brad Tabkes votes likely came from factories in shakopee that hire underage children. I alerted the star tribune to this story in 2023 and of course… nothing.

Amy Klobuchar has yet to call for Democrats to un-invite Hasan Piker to their election rally this evening. No criticism of Ilhan Omar for inviting Piker. No condemnation of the event.
Tim Walz couldn't stand up to the far left-wing of the DFL. And neither will Klobuchar.

Ilhan has repeatedly confirmed her real age.
These are her words.
Not ‘MAGA Conspiracy Theorists’
Not Trump’s
She only changed it when she got caught.
Ilhan knowingly ran for Congress knowing this and continued voting in our elections.
She was never a legitimate citizen.

We're seeing reports of law enforcement activity at Washburn High School in south Minneapolis. Reportedly about a dozen cops, some with ARs entering the school.
Nothing official, we'll keep checking for more info.
Any witnesses?

BREAKING: Minnesota Court of Appeals reverses liberal white woman judge Sarah West, who threw out a jury's correct guilty verdict against Muslim Abdifatah Abdulkadir Yusuf, who bilked $7.2M from Medicaid in a fake billing scam, reinstating of all six guilty verdicts for aiding and abetting theft by swindle.

This is absolutely fascinating and tracks with exactly what I’ve been following in Minnesota.
The thing that has been biggest to me are the language swaps. The DSA council will do this suddenly and abruptly. All at once… this explains that.
I also have obtained emails in city hall that have council members “blind cc-ing” whole networks of activists on what would seem to be a procedural email to staff and other electeds.
I’m sure the particular council member who did it REPEATEDLY likely thought his actions would mean the addition discourse and “heads up” to the networks would be hidden in a data drop.
Sorry… this little mouse still got past the waymo.
… more to come.
It’s a big week.
