I think my old thread is messed up. I'll start a new one. Today I've released version 2.7.0 of the M365 Call Flow Visualizer. #MSTeams - [()] will be removed from holiday call handling names because of mermaid syntax errors. - Added support to display / export MS System Greeting

I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you have an LG TV you don’t need to use its Menu. You can long press 0 on the remote to configure “speed dials” for buttons 1-8. I believe that’s enough for most people to program their most used apps and inputs.
agents are coming for every screen in your house my LG OLED is now way faster & customizable

I made a short video that explains Entra app permissions and the part they played in the ConnectWise incident: how one app credential reached 173+ Microsoft 365 tenants with no password or MFA, and what to check today. youtube.com/watch?v=Q36aL_HI…

What happens when somebody calls you on Teams phone using a spoofed number from your own number range? Does the call get labelled as an external call or look like an internal call? Do you know what Trust Indicators are and what they represent? 🤔 I answer all these questions in my latest blog post. heusser.pro/p/what-happens-w…

I'm sorry but these AI examples still don't resonate with me. Asking AI to build something from scratch for which 100s of tools already exist (free and paid) (Image resizing tools and photo galleries) just doesn't make any sense to me. @pavandavuluri says "let's say you want to turn a folder into a professional gallery for a client"... What am I supposed to do with a local html file? Send it to the client? It's not that I don't think that this is useful. But it's a bad example. My workflow would be to ask the AI what are people using to resize images? And then incorporate that into my workflow. If nothing exists, I'd build a re-usable tool perfectly tailored to my needs, not a one-off solution. The gallery being titled "Perplexity Gallery" is a perfect example of how the AI is lacking real world understanding/context here. The photos have nothing to do with Perplexity itself. Using something like PowerToys Image Resizer is much faster and gives you more control over things like size, aspect ratio etc. Also, who are we kidding here, just dump the pictures into OneDrive/Google Drive/whatever and send it to the client. It's 2026 and bandwith/large images are not an issue. Thumbs and search will be handled by the cloud storage service. My recommendation: Always ask AI to check if there are existing open-source solutions. And then use AI to implement it or adapt it to your needs. People that build and maintain open-source solutions originally created it for a reason. They likely use AI to maintain it nowadays as well. But they already did the hard part: They thought about how to solve the complex problems through iterations. They know which problems they could run into in the future and addressed them. In most cases, they have a much better understanding of what a tool like this should do and how it should work because they built it without AI. If you let AI build it from scratch, you will need to keep iterating on it, fix bugs and add stuff. If you implement something existing, all the AI needs to do is probably just adjust a couple of params. This example is low key admitting that even though we've had PCs for more than 30 years now, most people still have absolutely no idea how to use one. I can see how non-tech savvy users will see this and think that it's great. But they won't think about what else and image resizing tool needs to include: Do you need web optimized versions/multiple formats and sizes/strip EXIF data? How can you use this for another folder? I'd assume copy the Python script to another folder... but then again, if you don't know how to run it, you'll have to ask Perplexity to run it for you instead of just right clicking some images and resize them with an existing, purpose built tool... youtube.com/live/ilmBGeGldrI…

.@Office365 A few weeks ago I said that Graph didn't support group mailboxes. What I meant was that Graph doesn't support these mailboxes via the Mailbox API. But other APIs are available, even if using them is kind of strange: office365itpros.com/2026/10/… #Microsoft365

Is there a technical explanation why Xbox Series S doesn’t support HDR game clip capture? 🤔

Skill issue. If you get too many sign in prompts it means your Entra admins don’t know what they’re doing.

.@Office365 A Graph API exists for #Outlook Groups, the email-enabled collaboration first implemented for #Microsoft365 Groups. Not sure if anyone would want to use it, but here's how to access conversations and threads just in case you do: office365itpros.com/2026/09/…

I built a deep link redirect service for apps that only accept https links (like Teams, Outlook etc.) Target audience is IT support personell that want to go the extra mile and provide a link to open certain apps or settings directly to help end users find stuff easier. Try it here and tell me what you think? lemon-tree-036650103.1.azure…

Are you using Teams shared call history for call queues? Did you notice that it doesn't actually notify people when a call was missed and people still have to check queues proactively? I've explored and documented how shared call history works under the hood and how one could build their own notifying mechanism for missed calls... Blogged about it here 👇 heusser.pro/p/exploring-shar… #MicrosoftTeams #TeamsPhone #CallQueues #PowerShell #MicrosoftGraph

Is that why infra guys and sys admins sometimes have to explain to developers how computers work?
"Not having a coding experience is becoming an advantage." Replit CEO Amjad Masad: "You don't need any development experience. You need grit. You need to be a fast learner." "If you're a good gamer, if you can jump in a game and figure it out really quickly, you're really good at this." "Coders get lost in the details." "Product people, people who are focused on solving a problem, on making money, they're going to be focused on marketing, they're going to be focused on user interface, they're going to be focused on all the right things." "I think this year it's gonna flip, and I think not having a coding background is gonna be more advantageous for the entrepreneur." @amasad with @jackneel

If you need an AI assistant to make a phone call for a dinner reservation on your behalf, it means that the tech world is moving too fast for the rest of the world. Online booking solutions and APIs have been around for a very long time now but many restaurants and other customer facing businesses have chosen not to adopt them...
