Support this film. Don’t let creations like this die.
LAIKA's new stop-motion film ‘WILDWOOD’ was in production for 7 years.
• Over 1,000 artists worked on the film
• Over 132 practical sets were built
• Over 140,000 individual faces were made for the 236 unique puppets in the film

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.
I will not be silenced.

This is the darkest timeline.
Do not let this movie bomb or flop or whatever we are calling this BS. Only $10 million on a $100 million budget. If I hear one person say that we aren’t getting original films anymore or nothing is good these days, then you better support this movie
Laika’s ’WILDWOOD’ is early tracking to earn only $6M-$10M on its domestic opening weekend.
• Budget was of around $100M
• One of the lowest openings for an animated film in 2026

Idk when it became normalized to coddle artists that you're commissioning. It is not normal to take 8 months to complete a commission. It's okay to tell them to hurry up.
