As France is burning, I keep thinking of what the UAE Foreign Minister said a few years ago ๐
He accurately predicted this.

Itโs frightening to look back at what Hitchens warned about 20 years ago, and yet Europe ignored him and carried on. Today we are warning America.
What these FN loons want is always more money, no obligations, and the right to shut everything down.
You can't live in a thriving society with these people! No wonder that so many reservations are on third world level and barely functioning.
An AFN draft paper for an upcoming meeting with prime minister, premiers, calls for a First Nations-controlled wealth fund, financed in part by ongoing contributions from projects of national interest.
The paper says the fund should reach every First Nation, whether or not a project is near them and whether or not they consent to a project that proceeds. Receiving a benefit โwould not cure an infringement, settle a disagreement or relieve the Crown of its duties.โ

Anyone not willfully blind to the usual duplicity by the "Palestine" crowd knew that this was going to happen. You guys are just playing Kabuki theatre here.

One of the strange misconceptions of Quebec nationalism is the myth of domination by "les anglais."
The truth is that the dominant strains of British Canadian culture were Celtic, i.e. Scots and Irish, the bulk of whom were hardscrabble people who had survived the Highland Clearances or the Irish Famine, both of them underdogs with no great love for the English.
The most poignant example: Wolfe's shock troops at the Plains of Abraham were the Fraser Highlanders, almost all of them descendants of families who fought on the Stuart side during the last Jacobite uprising. After the British victory in 1759, many of them settled on farms throughout Lower Canada, and were integrated into French Canadian culture (easily, as they were generally Catholic.)
Highland Scots worked closely with French Canadian voyageurs in the vast fur trade operations of the HBC and NWC, together building the first European communities across much of North America, often with nary an Englishman in sight!
Famine Irish were a huge part of the Quebec population after the great emigration, again integrating well into Quebec society given their common religious sentiments. Thomas D'Arcy McGee was the personification of their experience, moving from Fenian rage towards the English to seeing Canada as a new beginning, rooted in a more benign and pluralistic British Imperialism.
There are countless similarities between the traditional culture of the Highland Scots, Irish, and French Canadians. Tough people who lived closed to the land, were deeply motivated by their faith, and were determined not to let the English suppress their folkways.
I nominate this guy for the 2026 Darwin Award!
And yet another bonkers ruling by the Canadian judiciary. These judges are bent on destroying the social fabric of our country in the name of "equity."
The Supreme Court ruled today that judges MUST "meaningfully engage" with the recommendations of a sentencing circle when sentencing indigenous offenders.
The court also upheld a lighter sentence for an indigenous man who severely beat his girlfriend. scc-csc.ca/judgments-jugemenโฆ
Whenever these clowns parade around in their costumes, it's to demand more money or to disparage Canada. They are a malignant force that wants to make our lives worse.

๐โ๏ธโฝ๏ธ : Wetโsuwetโen nation hereditary Chief Namoks says Canada must respect UNDRIP and is opposed to any expansion of oil & gas in Canada & in S. America.
Chief Namoks slams Mark Carney for Bill C-39 (Building Canada Strong Act), which seeks to fast track projects in the national interest, as defined by Mark Carney.
Mark Carney has opened Pandora's Box by saying companies & all Canadian governments must obtain consent from every FN Band that may be impacted by any project in Canada.
Under the Mark Carney agreement, businesses & governments must spend vast sums of money consulting with non elected officials who could care less about the Canadian economy.
These are leaders often have their own bloodline agendas that seek to enrich and empower themselves, at the expense of tens of millions of their fellow citizens & even their own communities.
These Chiefs don't see themselves as our equals. They do not respect us. They do not seek consensus.
No economy can successfully run under such an insane system. Canada has 634 First Nation Chiefs, many with separate and even conflicting agendas.
Mark Carney said any project must have the consent of First Nations. How will anything move forward, under such an onerous system?

Today we remember the victims of the October 7 massacre โ the killing of innocent Israeli people, the torture, mutilation, rape and kidnapping, parading of the dead, the wanton cruelty and the depraved celebrations of murder, the gleeful delight in brutality, the degeneracy of its perpetrators and supporters. It is a day that stands out for its unparalleled sadism and nihilism.
The scale of the killing of people of all sorts, all races, Jewish and Arab and others, is unequalled in a single day in modern times.
It was the greatest murder of Jewish people since the Holocaust.
Its cruelty and barbarism seem to belong to cruel times long ago โ this was a lurch back to the raids and slaughters of the Mongols or the Huns - but it is unique too in its 21stcentury hi-tech modernity: it was filmed live by its perpetrators and other cameras and so unlike any other atrocity in all of human history, its details are beyond question.
It is the most documented butchery and sadism ever perpetrated โ and therefore the reactions to it are simply the clearest and most unequalled test of humanity available to us, reactions that will be remembered in the future.
It was also a crime against peace: its effects were utterly destructive for Israelis but also for Palestinians and the innocent people across the whole region who perished in the wars it unleashed.
More than that, it was an atrocity against humanity itself - and the humanist values that mark all decent people, the values of liberal, free, kind societies and communities everywhere.
Its effects were utterly destructive for Israelis but also for the Palestinians and the rest of the region.
Today we remember those who died, those who were wounded, those who were kidnapped, tortured, raped and killed in the tunnels of Gaza, those who lost friends and compatriots.
It was a crime of annihilation to launch the liquidation of an entire people and nation, to kill and torture Israelis and Jews.
Am Yisrael Chai.
A bunch of social engineers on the bench keen on "uplifting" society. What could possibly go wrong?
Supreme Court of Canada opens a new judicial year. Chief Justice Wagner version of "more dangerous and divided world" increasingly uncertain due to deepening polarization.
