9/ This is just the start. We want every everyone regardless of age, sex or background to feel safe going live on use.live, and we’ll keep building until they do.
Come stream with us 🎙️
8/ Behind the scenes, our team can warn, suspend or restrict any account, and every action is logged with who did it and why. Accounts are protected with bot checks, lockouts and “sign out everywhere”.
7/ Hosts get their own tools: remove or ban anyone from their house, mute people, choose who speaks or shows video, and appoint their own moderators.
6/ Teens are protected too. You must be 13 or older, teens need a parent’s approval to pay, and underage accounts can’t receive gifts or take calls.
4/ Profile pictures are screened for explicit content before they ever go up. Names and titles are checked against a banned-words list we update live, no app update needed.
3/ Anyone can report an account, with screenshots. A nudity report turns that person’s video off immediately, before anyone even reviews it. We act first and check after.
2/ Video moderators now watch every public live in real time. See something that breaks the rules? One tap bans it: the video goes off, the profile picture comes down, and a screenshot goes straight to our team.
We’re building the biggest paid streaming platform in the world, and we’re starting right here at home in Nigeria.
Streamer, content creator, musician, coach, whatever it is you do. If you have something valuable to share, this is the place to share it and make real money from it.
But none of this works if people don’t feel safe. So that’s what we’ve been working on for the past few weeks.
Here’s what we’ve done 🧵

He will share it in a party at his house soon. @otoide_a do that party oh!! Use both @LagosLifeApp and @motionapphq so that you can give your manifesto via voice. @Shalom_HeyEliy we need use.live back there, at least for election purposes please. 🤣😂😂
