Super Drunk in Michigan is just a buzz in Wisconsin
Grand Traverse County Commissioner Lauren Flynn is facing a misdemeanor charge under Michigan's "super drunk" driving law.
Flynn pleaded not guilty Tuesday to the charge, which stems from a traffic stop in July.
Michigan's high-BAC law applies to drivers with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.17 or higher.

These builders should be fined out of business and their owners thrown in jail
Nearly two-thirds of builders said immigration enforcement is affecting their labor force, up from 23% in March and 13% a year ago, according to a September John Burns Research & Consulting survey.
“We’re almost dead in the water because our workforce is gone,” said Scott Brannock, president of Jacksonville-based Tidewater Homes and the Northeast Florida Builders Association.
“We have national builders who are missing projections, losing hundreds of thousands of dollars because they have slabs sitting on the ground and no one to frame.”

UPDATE: Official reports are limited but it is not looking good. Additional reports from CFB Wainwright suggest a Carl Gustaf (Carl G) 84 mm anti tank round may have struck a natural gas/pipeline during a live fire training exercise.
According to local accounts, the impact ignited a fire that intensified as winds picked up, spreading toward a munitions storage shed and reportedly triggering secondary detonations.
1. Casualties are reportedly in the hundreds, with earlier accounts suggesting at least 100 affected. Official figures remain unavailable.
2. Regional hospitals are reportedly operating under Code Orange, a mass casualty emergency protocol. The extent of these activations remains unconfirmed.
3. Two flights involving C-FSUG, a civilian Beechcraft King Air B200 operated by Alberta Central Airways and previously associated with Alberta Health Services medical transport, reportedly landed tonight. The aircraft typically accommodates 6 to 8 passengers plus crew. Its possible involvement in casualty evacuations remains unconfirmed.
4. Authorities have confirmed 7 fatalities and many injuries, while the specific cause, casualty figures, hospital alerts and secondary detonations await independent verification.

Happy Opener, South Dakota! Foster and I wish you good luck in the field!
Pheasant hunting is part of who we are, and it’s a tradition worth passing on to our kids and grandkids.
As Governor, I partnered with landowners to start the Second Century Initiative, helping turn marginal land into wildlife habitat so the next generation can enjoy the same hunting traditions we grew up with.
