It’s not just “you versus you.”
You can find that trope to be true in many facets of life, but when it comes to your health, you’re up against so much more.
In reality, it’s you versus:
-your family health history
-genetics
-chronic disease
-insurance approvals
-15 minute doctors visits
-fake health gurus
-health misinformation
-“normal” biomarkers based on a sick population
-“healthcare” that is really just sick care
-the inevitability of aging
-and yes, still, you. The version of you who falls victim to all the above, allowing sickness and aging to happen to them instead of fighting back.
The odds are stacked against you, and there’s more than one opponent you’re up against in your quest for health.
This is why it’s more important than ever to arm yourself with agency, align yourself with education, and focus on what you can control and influence.
That last part is the hardest, because we’ve been made to believe much of our health is outside our control. But that’s where having expert help and advanced tools come into play.
For our members at Velocity, we can run genetic testing to see what predispositions you may have, and curate a plan around them. We can see what peptides will be most effective for your genetic make-up, so you get the most benefit from them. We can run advanced heart scans to see cardiac risk long before a blood test.
It’s still you vs all those opponents. But with the right team, the right tests, and the right treatment, and most importantly, right mindset, the playing field can not only be leveled out but tilted in your favor.
Health is yours for the taking, if you’re willing to go get it.

What does it take to run a 100-mile race?
Bloodwork.
You can think you’re doing everything right, but if your physiology isn’t in agreement, then you’ll run into roadblocks you didn’t even know exist.
Tomorrow morning, Velocity Chief Clinical Officer, and recent Leadville-100 finisher @brocktreichert is going to be sitting down with @DrDeepMD to discuss how he used bloodwork to:
-Fill gaps in his training plan
-Dial himself in for the race
-See what physiological changes happened during the race, recover as efficiently as possible
If you’re someone who is an endurance athlete, a physiology fanatic, or both, you’re definitely not going to want to miss this
“You live an entire lifetime in the span of one race”
HUGE congratulations to Velocity Chief Clinical Officer @brocktreichert & Velocity PRO athlete @nicky_waka on finishing the Leadville 100 mile race!
Over the span of 28 hours, these men ran through the night, covering over 100 miles & climbing 15,000 feet of elevation.
Blood, sweat, and tears went into this, and on the other side is a moment these gentlemen will never forget, and a belt buckle you can’t put a price on.
It’s not enough to talk the talk, or even to walk the walk. Our team runs the 100 mile run.
Congrats men!

We are proud to announce our newest membership option, Velocity Trust
The hormone and peptide space has become a black-box of misinformation and confusion for those looking to improve their health, and a cash-grab for pop up clinics and gray-market sellers.
Trust is here to change that. And how we do that is right in the name:
T - Transparency
R - Responsibility
U - Unbiased Review
S - Safely Sourced
T - Tailored Care
What sets us apart is more than just our safe sourcing of hormones and peptides, the diagnostics and testing we run, and the follow up and management we offer.
It’s the relationship, commitment, and trust we establish with all who come to us for help.
With @DrDeepMD leading Trust for men and @brittanybussemd leading Trust for women, you will be met by a physician who is ready to hear and understand where you are in your health journey.
Your body is unique, your healthcare should be too. And you should only leave it in the hands of someone you trust.

Your labs came back "normal," so you moved on.
But those ranges are built on the general population, and for an athlete, normal and optimal are rarely the same number.
Eric Hinman, a 5x Ironman now racing HYROX, ran a specialized hormone panel called DUTCH to catch the difference.

Peptides might be the most hyped, least understood molecules in health right now.
So The Ultimate Asset brought back the guest who explains them best.

Is this the future of metabolic medicine?
Osteoporosis and sarcopenia aren't just 'old age' problems. They are the result of decades of ignored hormonal health.
For years, women have been encouraged to do cardio while their muscle mass - their ultimate insurance policy - wastes away.
When we ignore the survival imperative of resistance training and hormonal balance, we invite fragility.
We are moving beyond the status quo to give women their health span back.
Listen to the full strategy in our upcoming Podcast with Dr. Brittany Busse (@brittanybussemd), the Executive Director of Female Health and Bio-Optimization at Velocity Health (@join_velocity)

Traditional healthcare often won’t treat you until after you’re already sick.
Most longevity clinics are just expensive spas.
Velocity Health offers a third option.
We provide preventative, personalized health plans for people who demand high-performance from their bodies. Let us help you live the best life you possibly can for as long as you possibly can.

My favorite Super Bowl “health” ad wasn’t about abs.
It was about… prostate / kidney / cancer screening.
Here’s what it got right (and what it missed)👇
We’re thrilled to be back at Super Bowl LX! 🏈
Get ready to relax your tight end, because taking charge of your prostate health will be the play of the game. #SuperBowlLX

What it got right:
1️⃣ Men ignore symptoms.
2️⃣ Preventive labs and imaging save lives.
3️⃣ Locker‑room culture makes it hard to talk about “embarrassing” organs.
Morgan Koth retweeted
What it missed:
• Screening is a timeline, not a one‑time test.
• Age, family history & race change the playbook.
• No one explains false positives, overdiagnosis, or how often to repeat
Morgan Koth retweeted
In concierge care, a “screening plan” usually includes:
⁃ Personalized starting age and interval
⁃ Bundled labs (not just one marker)
⁃ Follow‑up built into the calendar, not left to chance
Morgan Koth retweeted
If an NFL tight end can normalize talking about his prostate on national TV, you can ask your clinician what your next screening step should be.
