Wasn't kidding btw
I'll let you know how toddler-resistant the statue is, @MoMonuments, its days may be numbered 😂

This is an incredible piece I just received from @MoMonuments . What more could you want to celebrate 250 than an epic tribute to George Washington? I highly recommend you give Mo a follow and support his work! We need more patriots reviving an admiration for the great men who built this country 🇺🇸

Shoutout to the @MoreMonuments guys for the desktop George Washington statue…
Needed it for America's 250th.
They are now working on a 500ft version.
Patriots. 🇺🇸

So grateful to have been the first resident at Proto-Town, America’s next great city
For the past two years, some folks in Texas have been creating a new hardware city out in the middle of nowhere.
It's called Proto-Town, and it's both weird and wonderful. There are startups and people living in trailers right next to their machines.
They've never let the media visit. But we managed to get our cameras in there. Come see

19 of the 20 largest statues in the world are in Asia, 13 of which were built in the last 20 years.
Fuck degrowth.
Let’s build inspiring things and celebrate the engineers and workers that build them.

I never want to see the world’s tallest building in another country again.
We invented skyscrapers and we should DOMINATE building the tallest buildings ever dreamed of.
The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai just lit up in the American 🇺🇸 flag on the #IndependanceDay of U.S.A. !
Happy #4thofJuly to all our American friends.
Love from the UAE 🇦🇪

What are the most impressive things* we could** build if we all really wanted it?
*I’m thinking infrastructure or technology mega projects but whatever
**no new scientific knowledge needed/sufficient resources available near earth

I keep hearing this thing where people ask, “why don’t billionaires build monuments anymore?”
First of all, they never did that much. Almost all major monuments are built by governments.
Second of all, they still do. Quick thread of monuments recently built by billionaires.

the tallest statue in America 🗽
- is only 151 ft tall
- wasn’t built by us, it was built by the French
- is dwarfed by nearly all skyscrapers - looks unimpressive in comparison
- was unveiled in 1886 - over 135 years ago
America needs more grand and inspiring monuments!

It's embarrassing that the U.S. only makes it in 52nd place in largest statues, that being the Statue of Liberty built 130 years ago and 4x shorter than the tallest statue.
We need a statue in every large city. We need to take the Top 10 Largest. We need to be statue-maxxing.
