What's wild is that the days of the week correspond to the planets in the following order: sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn And this is true in Sanskrit, Tamil, Hindi, Gujarati, Korean, and Japanese.

Unpopular opinion but Java is actually a great language with an extremely high performance JVM that also has sub millisecond garbage collection cycles. Most complaints besides potentially max memory usage is just cope.

Decline compounds too. Building 10s of failed snowflakes has an exponential impact on what you can build next. Sometimes the only winning move is not to play if you clearly dont see a way to avoid adding to the decline.
Progress is not linear. If you improve by 10% per month, you are not 120% better in a year. You are 314% better. Momentum compounds. The key is to create systems where every win feeds the next, because effort alone will never match the power of acceleration.

🌶️ Today, you can create custom-made interactive books in seconds. No book can compete with this. I read and write tech books, so I'm speaking against myself here. Yesterday, a tweet caught my attention about multi-level agents, and I decided to dive into it with Grok 3. I can tell Grok: - what my current level of knowledge is - what I want to know more about - ask for extra explanations around topics I didn't get - ask for code samples for topics that I already understand and basically, write an interactive book as I prompt. This is ridiculous. I don't know why you would choose a different way to learn about new stuff if you are already fluent in some tech (for example, OpenAI API, LLMs, promoting and building TS/JS apps). If you're a total beginner that's different because you can mislead if you give the wrong prompt. In which buying a book might be a better option for you.

In case the mobile website looks odd, here's the full news release: BOULDER, Colo. – At approximately 11:36 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, Boulder Police received a call about a welfare check for a man in crisis with a gun threatening to shoot himself and others. At 1:38 p.m., the University of Colorado Boulder Police received a call from someone who saw a gun fall out of the pants of a man walking on campus. That man then put the gun back in his pants and ran away. The witness said the man then got in a car and drove away. CUPD issued a shelter in place and officers began searching the area for the suspect. Boulder Police and CUPD officers connected the two calls and gathered additional information to tentatively identify the suspect. The initial information officers received indicated the suspect was armed with a gun and that he was looking for a woman with whom he used to be in a relationship. As this incident unfolded, officers became aware that this suspect had an active domestic violence protection order. Officers searched multiple locations in the city and just after 3 p.m., they spotted the suspect’s car. They coordinated to safely immobilize his car on 40th Street just north of Table Mesa Drive in south Boulder. The suspect refused to drop a gun he was holding. Boulder Police SWAT was activated and for more than four hours, officers talked with the suspect, trying to persuade him to drop the gun and surrender peacefully. Unfortunately, at approximately 7:15 p.m. while they were trying to negotiate with him, the suspect committed suicide. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will identify the suspect and notify the next of kin. This investigation remains ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Boulder Police Tipline 303-441-1974 reference case 25-1695.

I would hire someone to help me tidy up the cabling in my office (desk included). I've tried over the years, but it must be redone. I don't want to endure the pain and the long time it would take me to do it. If you're a professional organizer in Michigan, hit me up.
