Im very much the friend that will be too woke and truly believe sexism infects everything, but as someone who has stopped watching anime because of how it treats girls/women, haikyuu (esp in post hs arcs) truly treats its few female characters with a respect i rarely see in manga

Re-watching Haikyu with a friend and we're at the BBQ episode in S2 and he goes "sorry Andres this show is kind of sexist af" and that gave me a bit of pause cause I never thought of Haikyu in that way before, but the stuff with the managers makes him kinda true-ing.
