$mooon (@mooon_nft) is a Japan based platform for distributing digital goods mainly NFTs, designed for non-crypto users. It removes common friction like wallets and gas fees, letting creators issue NFTs for a flat cost of 8 yen per item using credit cards. Users claim NFTs by completing simple social tasks (follow, like, repost, keywords), mostly on X. Team & Ops • Operator: nakamu (@nakamu4510), founder and operator of mooon • Analytics / Support: Kazuma Iizumi (@kazuma7o7), maintains the public Dune dashboard and supports data transparency This points to a lean but legit team covering ops + tech. What Makes $mooon Different ? • No wallet, no gas: Users don’t touch crypto at all • Task based minting: NFTs are unlocked via social engagement • Fiat native: Creators pay via credit card, not tokens • Strong X integration: Built for viral campaigns and community growth • Chain abstracted UX: Blockchain is hidden from end users It’s positioned more as a digital goods distribution tool than a hardcore NFT marketplace. Traction : • 200,000+ NFTs distributed (as of July 2025) • Active since 2023, slowed during NFT winter, now ramping again • Collaborations with Japanese artists and Astar related events • Recent push on Orynth (Web3 Product Hunt style platform) with positive feedback on UX and abstraction $mooon is a low friction NFT distribution rail built for mass users. Cheap, simple, social first, and already proven at scale. 132x5nGSU6G82WMjanYT2XoXqpeE55JWKp41S9XHDory orynth.dev/projects/mooon
