If you hire freelancers, understand that an invoice (whether it's $500 or $5,000) isn't a line item or a drop in the bucket. It pays their bills. Provides for themselves or their families. Sustains their businesses and careers. Please oh please, treat (and pay) it accordingly.

We’re having printer problems… in that we need to rerun the setup on the printer... and the printer software is so old that it runs Flash. Maybe it’s time to buy a new printer…

Pro Tip: It helps to actually unlock the layers you’ve locked in InDesign if you need to move an element within that layer. Instead of, you know, just rage clicking on the element that you want to move and wondering why it won’t select.
