A friend described the disappearance as an “impossible situation,” saying the uncertainty has been especially difficult for those who know and care about Foust. Police say there is concern for his safety and are asking nearby residents to check surveillance footage as search efforts continue.

Got to write a message for her vigil held today, along with a few of our other friends messages. It gave me so much more closure for her. I needed that so badly. I think I'm ready to stop publicizing my grief so people could know who she was, and to just remember her.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank the trans collective at UW, and all of its partners for hosting this ceremony. It was so lovely and so accommodating beyond belief. The speeches given there were so powerful and I will remember them for years to come.
