There’s digital identity and then there is decentralized identity. The latter for the win. – at San Jose, CA
Digital identity tech and legislation are accused of human rights offenses in Europe and Asia for automatically excluding certain communities and people with disabilities.

I feel stupid beyond belief. I need counselling.
While not complete and S/MIME comes with a whole set of challenges, this is an important step in the right direction

Why Apple’s announcements today are a big deal, a thread. 1/
End-to-end encryption is coming to millions (billions?) of iCloud users. That’s great news.
BIG NEWS: Apple is finally bringing end-to-end encryption to most of iCloud, including backups, Photos, Notes and more. Apple’s calling it Advanced Data Protection. Full story here, including my exclusive interview with Craig Federighi:

🚨 *MASSIVE* ongoing phishing campaign targeting high profile web3 people!🚨
The attackers call the victim and spoof Apple's caller ID (display caller as "Apple, Inc." which is very easy to fake). Then someone very professional pretends they need the recovery pin.
The Moonfish team worked on several wallets projects. We’ve seen situations like this and it sucks.
Moonfish uses a fundamentally different wallet architecture we call Wallet as a Service: a central low-level wallet store that provides wallet services to apps on your device

Really dangerous & deceptive marketing tactics out there on MPC-based key management solutions. Several companies pretend that "there's no private key" when using MPC.. 😖 Quite a few folks reached out to confirm so I'm taking some time to rebute all this:

Cool to see Ethereum encrypted emails, hope decentralized opensource protocols replace Google, Facebook, Apple etc. as the default digital identity used for log ins and messages.
Hello, we are Moonfish: end-to-end encrypt e-mail with your Ethereum keys. 🤩 Moonfish also prevents phishing attacks. 🤯
We are open sourcing and standardizing this powerful technology. Our Gitcoin grant application is live now:

At @BuidlersTribe in San Francisco pitching Moonfish. What a great space. Thanks everyone present for the many great questions!
(Btw, these are not our slides, this is the really interesting @dippixyz project)
We can end email phishing scams if we want to. If your web3 company has a mailing list, watch our live demo tomorrow at #ETHSanFrancisco2022
Even better: be part of the demo! Sign up here and receive the first web3 phishing-resistant mail: bit.ly/Web3mail
Wow. Will we soon have a solid multi-platform development alternative to the less-optimal Javascript-based solutions? 😍
"Swift on Windows" at @browsercompany isn't just a shot in the dark either... it's already working.
Check out this real, live demo of Arc on Windows... written 100% in Swift using WindowsUI (@tomwarren):
“I don’t believe in Etherereum because how its creator looks like” must be the most moronic take ever (esp after 8 years of market dominance).
Do better people. For instance like: “I don’t like it because he ruined the badger dance for me”

Ok I don't even get this tweet. Like, sure, people make fun of my appearance all the time and I understand their reasoning in doing so, but here I can't even tell what's being made fun of.
