A Russian woman from St. Petersburg, where a number of targets were struck by Ukraine's Defense Forces, says she has been waiting for an official explanation from Russian authorities for two days.
"This is definitely no longer a 'special military operation,' because an 'SMO' is a localized conflict confined to a specific area. What we're seeing here is something else entirely.
Will someone explain to us what happened? Is this really our new normal? Are we going to have to live like this all the time now?"
She complains that "our walls were shaking as drones flew overhead and the explosions just kept coming" - a reality Ukrainians have been living through for almost five years because of Russia's brutal war against Ukraine.

Ukraine could have surrendered in 2014. But we didn’t.
Ukraine could have surrendered in 2022. But we didn’t.
And we could surrender now. But we will not.
We. Are. Ukrainians. We will not surrender.

Will Putin be shown any of this footage of his "3-day SMO"? Or will he continue hearing the lying reports of Gerasimov?
Putin started this war, and Putin brought it back to his hometown.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t even matter if Zelenskyy is President of Ukraine or not. @ZelenskyyUa
Putin’s goal is to take Ukraine. Then he will take Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and he will make his way through all of Europe.
People obsess over personalities too much.
You could have an election in Ukraine tomorrow and Putin would still find a reason to be at war.
Russia INVADED Ukraine.
Not the other way around.
Zelenskyy’s removal from office won’t stop Russian imperialism.
It’s not about Zelenskyy. It’s about Putin. It’s always been about Putin.

Nobody supports @ZelenskyyUa over President Trump.
Who said that?
People support Zelenskyy over Putin because Putin is actively aiding the Iranians and Chinese as they plot to kill American service members.
Zelenskyy is trying to save the lives of Ukrainian civilians. That’s his job as the President of Ukraine.
Just like it’s President Trump’s job to do what’s best for the American people.
Putin is a terrorist who violated President Trump’s own energy ceasefire announcement this week. Putin has zero respect for our country and he has shown that over and over again.
You can be pro-Trump and anti-Putin, believe it or not!
You can! I am pro-Trump, pro-Ukriane and anti-Putin! The Russian people would be much better off without Putin.
I am anti-Russo-expansionism because it’s inherently anti-West and anti-American.
